When Sir Roger Douglas ended Muldoon’s doomed  socialism via a micro managed economy, following the vain attempt by Derek Quigley to rein him in he, Douglas,  saved New Zealand from a fate that has Venezuela firmly in the web of failure such meddling always brings, I along with many others breathed a sigh of relief.

Governments cannot tax an economy to success, it is false in the extreme to believe that making all equal by instituting equal poverty for all will sell, Socialism only lasts while there is sufficient others able to be taxed to pay for it, Governments are monumentally successful in proving they will never match a free market to provide any commercial endeavour.

Sir Roger has some pertinent words on the lauded “Surplus” the man hardly fit to be labeled a successor to the one person Labour ever produced to run NZ Inc, suggesting if a commercial operation presented those accounts they should be in prison!

Labour however regard the genius who saved NZ Inc from ruin under the shallow but eloquent Lange but had his plans virtually disowned when Lange called for a cuppa, as a Pariah .
How quaintly socialist, of them failing to see good sense even when handed up by one of their own??
