No Minister

Clearly its election year with the Jones boy calling for the deportation of our Indian community back to New Delhi.    Playing the race card has of course been front and centre of NZ First’s election strategy since it first burst onto the political scene back in 1996 … Africans (of the coloured variety); Pacific Islanders; Chinese … anyone other than WASPs (provided they weren’t unionists) have been fair game for them come election time in a deliberate move designed to grow their rooinek support base.

So Jones who has, single-handedly (almost), managed to redefine pork barrel politics now becomes the mouthpiece for Winston First’s latest foray into ethnic cleansing.     St Jacinda must be beside herself; she knows its wrong but is powerless to intervene.   Jones is a law unto himself … for him the cabinet manual is relegated to door-stop status.   One has to wonder what her response will be if/when her Indian List MP Priyanca Radhakrishnan raises the matter with her … as she surely must representing Labour’s Indian community.

Memo to Jones.   Bad timing old son to go public at the same time your boss was making an official visit to India.   Or perhaps not … is he making a tilt for the leadership?    It’s common knowledge that the NZ First caucus ain’t a happy place right now with the Party under investigation by the Serious Fraud Office.
