I note the Oz media have taken to referring to the Prime Minister as a one trick show pony breaking the earnestly choreographed perception of her treading the world stage to sustained applause … fair comment?

Well she certainly hasn’t helped herself with her pattern of inaction regarding the enfant terrible of her cabinet Shane Jones who continues to embarrass her and the country.   Sorry Jacinda, Jones may not be Labour (although he was) but he is one of your Ministers.   His continued f**k you Jacinda to your various admonishments undermines your authority and diminishes the status of both yourself and your office. 

And there there is the extraordinary vox pop of you being run on CNN where you say you don’t understand the United States which is thinly coded for ‘I don’t like Trump’.   How you as Prime Minister could have been maneuvered into saying that beggars belief.    Twill go down with the Trump administration like a cup of warm sick … an administration that looks increasingly likely to be returned to office.   Goes a long way to explaining why our steel and aluminum exports to the US continue to attract punitive tariffs.  Put simply, JA foot in mouth diplomacy is an embarrassment.

On the credit side the Prime Minister does empathy in spades and carries out the feelz good photo shots with aplomb.   She is the sort of person I could happily share a glass of wine (whisky) with.
