Steve walks warily down the street.
With his brim pulled way down low.
Ain’t no sound but the sound of his feet.
Machine guns ready to go.
Are you ready, hey, are you ready for this?
Are you hanging on the edge of your seat?
Out of the doorway the bullets rip.
To the sound of the beat.
….
Another one bites the dust
And with yet more “other” news, there’s this latest bombshell from the world of the Great Russia-Collusion hoax. And this time it actually is a bombshell.

WOW! The DOJ will itself dismiss the charges against the Russian Company (Concord) who conducted the alleged “information warfare against the US“. This bullshit case will be dismissed – with prejudice.
Well that’s awkward for Team Mueller. This was the pivot point of the whole damned shooting match of Russian-Collusion.
Sure, there were other indictments, most of which centered on process crimes like supposedly lying to the FBI. People like Michael Flynn and George Papadopoulos took center stage, having not been proven to have done anything wrong at all in regards to Russia, but relentlessly targeted because there had to be something to show.
But this was case that was supposed to prove that the whole Mueller investigation was not a farce. They indicted a Russian company called “Concord”, claiming it was a front for conducting a full-scale information warfare against the USA during the 2016 election.
This would prove all that dreaded “election interference” we heard so much about. When Mueller dropped the indictment, the MSM suffered the greatest orgasam since Obama was elected and claimed vindication with breathless editorials across the land.
And now it’s fucked! Comprehensively and totally rooted. As in dismissed with prejudice so it will never see the light of day again. The dumb fucks in the Mueller team have actually gone one better than Trump’s impeachment, in that the DOJ have actually proved the Russians to be innocent of a crime.
It should be noted that this does not change the conclusions of US intelligence agencies that Russian intelligence agencies did try to interfere in the 2016 US election. They did, but via efforts so small-scale and pathetic that there was no evidence that it had any affect on the election in any way, let alone in the outcome.
Why did this case fail?
Well if you followed Right-Wing US blogs rather than Left-Wing US blogs – let alone the fantastic morons of the MSM like the NYT, WaPo and The Guardian – you’d have known for some time now what a crock this case was, and none of this would come as a surprise.
The lawyer acting for Concord was obviously enjoying himself. How many times in a career does a lawyer get to laugh in the face of DOJ threats and then humiliate them. Here’s some prime examples:
Dubelier: I find it disturbing that “you are already behaving in a manner that is inconsistent with the practices of the DOJ”
Woah! He’s channeling Darth Vader?

Okay. Let’s add what US courts call a “sidebar” to the above. What Dubelier is arguing and winning is that the Concord case was very dangerous law because the DOJ twisted the law to fit these defendants. The alleged illegal activities is that…..Concord interfered with the FEC’s ability to determine whether “statutes were violated.”
Ummm.. NO! You don’t get to prosecute on that basis. That’s like accusing a President of obstruction-of-justice because he wants his lawyers involved…
Oh wait!

The Real DOJ. Meeoow, darlings. But the following was my fave out of the whole thing.

You insult the US DOJ with footnotes in your argument that reference late 1940’s American kitsch like Warner Brothers cartoons.

And you still win.
Or how about this, with a Ms Rhee from the DOJ:
Rhee: We have 2tb of social media data.
Dubelier: What language is it in?
Rhee: Russian.
Dubelier: Have you translated it?
Rhee: No.
Dubelier: Then how do you know what’s in it?
Rhee: [silence]
There was never much of any evidence that Concord did the things they were accused of. Mueller essentially repackaged some shitty old information that the FBI had already dealt with in order to get an indictment that was doomed from the start – and it came nowhere near holding up in actual court.
To be fair I don’t blame Mueller. As his Congressional testimony showed he had – as his Democrat Party apologists said (he’s a registered Republican) – “lost a step or two”.
How about three? Four? An even dozen?
No, this massive failure is all on the team he assembled. That little cardre of Harvard and Yale-educated lawyers who received so much MSM praise as the team who would take down Trump. Instead they turned out to be a pathetic mixture of arrogance and clumsy cruelty. Hand them the power of the state and a process crime and they’d be able to break a man down to a plea bargain on pain of losing his house, family and life.
But winning in court on the precise legal arguments required to prove the “Russia-Collusion” claims?
Incompetent morons. Let this be your epitaph:
