Cops violate the 4th.Sadly, too many of our police forces still think they are above the law. Police brutality must be stopped.
The world has truly turned upside down (Superman's Bizzaro World, maybe), when it’s the military having to remind the civilian government that we’re not supposed to have military government.Defense Secretary Mark T. Esper has spoken out about Trump's desire to invoke the insurrection Act.Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Gen. Mark Milley, wrote in a memo on June 2:1. Every member of the U.S. military swears an oath to support and defend the Constitution and the values embedded within it. … We in uniform — all branches, all components, and all ranks — remain committed to our national values and principles embedded in the Constitution.…3. As members of the Joint Force-comprised of all races, colors, and creeds — you embody the ideals of our Constitution. Please remind all of our troops and leaders that we will uphold the values of our nation, and operate consistent with national laws and our own high standards of conduct at all times. These are very important rebukes to Trump, military men reminding both Trump and those they command that their loyalty is to the nation and the constitution, NOT Donald J. Trump. This has been such a major slap at Trump that he had a major, major melt down, tossing his hamburders ate the walls, screaming that he was going to sack Esper. His adults managed to calm him down and convince him that the American respect for and deference to the military will cost him votes if he is seen to be at war with \”the sodjers\”.
The attempts to educate Tom Hunter have continued in my absence. Tom is still receiving failing grades in both Humanity and Empathy.Tom is still trying to pretend he stands up for the downtrodden, the marginalised, the victims. Probably the best example is his post calling for the murder charges against Derek Chauvin to be upgraded, and his gloating when they were. You may ask why I disagree with the upgraded charge and why this again goes to show how little Tom Hunter cares for the little people, the forgotten the downtrodden. The new charge will now require the prosecution to prove there was intent to murder George Floyd. The video clearly shows what happens, that Derek Chauvin was responsible for the death of George Floyd, and that is borne out by the autopsy. But they do not prove intent to commit murder. This, far be it from Tom Hunter's claims of the law taking the best and most appropriate action is a case of closing ranks, making sure that justice is a sham.Prosecutors are now free to venue shop, to find a sympathetic judge and an all white Jury, who regardless of the clear evidence in front of them will vote to acquit a white cop. This will be Rodney King all over again.
Ah! The return of Roj Freedom Fighter in Spaaaaaccccceeee Blake. If you're unhappy with the upgrade you'd better check in with your good mate, Keith Ellison then.Ellison is the former local leader of the Nation of Islam and supporter of the Vice Lords gangbangers who murdered Minneapolis Police Department Officer Jerry Haaf in 1992. Ellison then led crowds of Vice Lord supporters and hangers-on in protest against the murder charges.Noted Antifa supporter who encouraged their activities in the past, as with the Vice Lords, Ellison is now – after a term in Congress – the Attorney General of Minnesota and has taken over the case. This is why the murder charge has been upgraded to 2nd degree. As usual you put the worst spin on what I say, which the other day was that while Chauvin almost certainly did not intend to kill Floyd I thought what he did amounted to more than 3rd degree, although I admitted that I did not know the details of each type of charge. Having now read Andrew McCarthy's incisive article in the Fascist National Review magazine (he's a former DA), I can see that Murder 2 will likely get shot down by defence lawyers. But that will be Ellison's fault in reaching stretching too far from the facts because he wants to punish Whitey rather than achieve any measure of justice. Exactly what I would expect of such a person with his Extreme Left history.Ellison is clearly determined upon revenge against a racist White man and has thrown the book at him and the other officers. The charges will likely fail and we'll be right back where we started: with \”systemic racism\” still out there as a wedge issue, which is all that Ellison cares about. He likely wants that outcome because it gives him something to feed off, like Winston Peter's does.
