The guy in question is Civil Rights lawyer Leo Terrell.

He has been part and parcel of Democrat party politics for years in California.
Over the years some of his more notable cases included:
- In 1995, Terrell represented Kumasi Simmons, a former football player from Centennial High School in Compton expelled for hitting a referee. Simmons accused the referee of using racial epithets. Terrell accused the Beverly Hills Police Department of intimidating witnesses who could back up Simmons’s claim.
- In 1999, Terrell called on the Los Angeles police commission to hear witnesses who claimed that a homeless woman, Margaret Laverne Mitchell, was running when police officers shot her.
- In 2012, Terrell called for an investigation of misconduct by trainees of the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.
He also hates Trump.
In other words his bonafides as a Democrat and a champion of civil rights, especially for Blacks, is solid.
And he’s had it with the Democrat Party’s response to the George Floyd murder in Minneapolis, in particular the insane policy of defunding the police in Democrat cities like LA, NYC and Minneapolis, all of whose mayors have recently announced those proposals.
He then went into the lions den of appearing on Hannity’s show on Fox, where he has often clashed with the host before, even walking off the set some years ago. What he had to say should send shivers up the spines of a party that thinks it’s got Trump where they want him for an election loss in November – with riots, mayhem and a nasty economic recession caused by government responses to the Chinese Lung AIDS disease.
On the show he stated bluntly that the Democrats have been “hijacked by the extremists” and he got stuck into the abysmal Joe Biden:
“He threw blacks in jail with his crime bill. It was President Trump with his first step action that got us out of jail, and then his best friend [LA Mayor] Eric Garcetti calls cops killers.”
And he also had some choice words for people who have been running the line that it is Trump who is failing to unite the country, looking at Biden’s recent comment that:
“There are probably anywhere from 10 to 15% of the people out there that are just not very good people.”
I’m surprised it’s as low as that in the estimation of the Democrats. It surely must include the 63 million who voted for Trump in 2016 and is an insane echo of Hillary Clinton’s “Deplorables” comment that helped her to lose an unloseable election. Terrel went right to the point on that:
“He claims he wants to unite the country, well he just threw out 15%, they’re not good people. Well, Joe Biden, I’m part of that 15% and proud of it.
Then he further divides the country by claiming that if you don’t vote Democrat, you ain’t black. He further divides the country by then not supporting the police department. I find it insulting.”
The Democrats may be in for a hell of shock, especially when it comes to the Black vote, of which they need 95% to win.

Oh look, Tomas found an \”Uncle Tom\”.Meanwhile, the GOP assault on democracy continues apace. On Election Day in November, some polling places could be patrolled by off-duty police officers and veterans, according to a plan hatched by Republican operatives. The idea is a reprise of once-illegal Election Day “ballot security” intimidation tactics, intended to challenge voter registration and remove voters from the rolls. At a strategy session in February attended by conservative donors and activists, several people expressed a specific need for Republican poll watchers in “inner city” and predominantly Native American precincts, according to audio recordings of the event obtained by The Intercept and Documented. “You get some [Navy] Seals in those polls and they’re going to say, ‘No, no, this is what it says. This is how we’re going to play this show,'” said Catherine Engelbrecht, founder of True the Vote, a group that lobbies for voting restrictions and organizes volunteers to go into precincts and aggressively challenge voters who they believe are improperly registered. “That’s what we need. We need people who are unafraid to call it like they see it.”People who want to place themselves above the law in order to re-elect a criminal. Then, there's this – cops running from their duties and vandalizing private motor vehicles. Why? Because they think they're immune.Story here. But Tomas won't be able to bring himself to condemn this.At least there is some humor in this situation. Trump's wall around the Whitehouse grows bigger by the day as the tiny tyrant hides under his desk, terrified that he will be dragged into the streets an hanged like Saddam Hussein, Mussolini, or Ceausescu.
Oooooooh, what burn eh. Should I trump (pun intended) your mojo reference with one from Alex Jones or Truthrevolt….equal credibility surely? Didn't Vox or Daily Kos have anything up?If it's the best you can do….don't
Ah, and there it is, an “Uncle Tom” according to Anne Tiffa. Just like Joe Biden gets to say who is and isn’t Black. And thus is it always the way with any person of colour who seeks to move off the planation controlled by those who govern it with the racism of low expectations. Go on, AT, tell us again how much you support the right of people to return to ancestral homelands, and how that applies to the existence of the modern state of Israel. Will be amusing to watch you squirm away from current radical left orthodoxy that Israel is an illegitimate neo-colonial interloper. ߘ

What is this obsession right wingers have for Israel? Who gives a fuck?Israel is a confection created by Jews to play on the guilt of Europeans for the holocaust and what went before. The ancestral homelands on the Jews who emigrated to Israel post 1945 is Germany, Poland, Hungary, Russia, not Palestine.
@ GaborHey, I’m not the one who mentioned, just a day ago that Mexicans who migrate, including illegally under US law to Texas, California, New Mexico, Nevada, Arizona, Colorado and Wyoming are engaged in a legitimate return to their ancestral homeland…so maybe take it up with Anne Tiffa.
And yeah, an entirely (sic) rational analysis, Gabor, what with the Tanakh/Old Testament recording that Joshua parted the Vistula, not the Jordan River to lead the children of Israel into the promised land…of the Pale of Settlement. ߘ㰟
GaborLearn to speak English before again attempting to comment around here.
Why's that Adolf? No one can hear me speak.
Kimbo, the OT isn't a history book, it is a justification for many evil things done in the name of G-d.However, if you DO insist on reading it as history, then the ancestral homeland of the Jews is Egypt, not Palestine.
RexIt looks to me as though you have been reading the Otago Times rather than the Old Testament. However the venerable ODT would be unlikely to suggest Moses a sent by God to rescue the Israelites from their ancestral homeland.
You have to wonder if AT has a life … I mean glued to the screen waiting for the next post on NM to appear so he can be first in with a ritual denouncing/condemnation of whatever …. including (dare I say it) indulging in a touch of racism with his 'Uncle Tom' epithet after going full retard on me for the use of the descriptive Tar Baby.More confirmation of the one rule for us vs the one rule for them being well in play when it suits our poster boy for Antifa.
There are more than one of us who post under this Nym.An Uncle Tom is an African American who sells out his people's interests. I think that is fitting in this case. What is a tar baby when applied to Elizabeth Warren?
one rule for us vs the one rule for them being well in play when it suits our poster boy for Antifa.I've always appreciated the fact that the original Antifa was set up by the Communist Party of Germany in the early 1930's when it was in its full Stalinist phase. So naturally while it fought the Nazi's SA units for control of the street it also fought everybody else; Liberals, Conservatives, everybody. They actually referred to poor old Social Democrats as \”Social Fascists\”.But then according to Stalin who pulled the strings, everybody opposed to them was a \”Fascist\”.So our poster boy is standing true to the hideous roots of his ideology – although ironically they dress more like Nazis nowadays.
Who's Rex?The earliest recording of the usage Israel was found in Egypt, not Palestine. Why would that be if the Jews were not in Egypt long before they were in Palestine?
Thomas Sowell is a rather predictable reference for Tom Hunter. I have read most of what Sowell has written over the years and have been rather unimpressed. He has very little recognition of community wide effects of decades of discrimination, and its effects on the psyche.I have always considered the fact the Obama did not have a slave heritage was a powerful influence on the way he thinks. No other black leader in the US discusses race and opportunity in the way he does. It enabled him to become President. Though maybe Kamala Harris and Colin Powell do as well. Obama is fundamentally more optimistic than most contemporary black leaders and does not have the residue of anger. The common thread the three of them have is they are not descended from slaves of the southern US states.Anyway, as with the Covid and lockdown debate, Tom is fundamentally on the wrong side of the argument. Maybe he is simply a contrarian. Or maybe he is just way more conservative than most conservatives. After all he thinks the National Party essentially consists of fellow travellers of communism such as myself.
He's not really a conservative these days, Wayne. His conservative credentials disappeared when he accepted Trump as his Lord and savior. Real conservatives like George Will or Mitt Romney or Bill Krystol have more courage.
Well Wayne I find you comments racist and sexist about Thomas Sowell. He's black, and black lives matter.Where the hell have you been for the last few weeks. You think you can criticize a black, especially with that condescending tone and get away with it.Annie fucktard Tiffa is going to take you to the race creations facilitator.Mind you Wayne, I've seen a lot of what you have written lately and \”have been rather unimpressed.\” Hope that's not a racist comment…ah cant be because last time I looked you were white as a sheet! If you post another article on a pine tree I'll turn black!
Ross is drunk.
…Wayne, I've seen a lot of what you have written lately and \”have been rather unimpressed.\”I find that very reassuring. It would be a scary lookout for the country if mainstream National Party thinkers were the kind of people RosscoWlg would agree with.
Ross is never sober.
Rex love your new name is that Zsa Zsa Gabor… loved her chest and her accent..are you a Czechoslavkian now or is that some black lives matter name
Shit Milt you mean to say Wayne is National Party… Christ I thought he was Labour Party hack around.Apologies to Wayne but he still hasn't gone up in my estimation, anybody that fixated on pine trees to that degree needs to seek help.
I've always appreciated the fact that the original Antifa was set up by the Communist Party of Germany in the early 1930's when it was in its full Stalinist phase.Never before have I met anyone so self assured in his ignorance of history. Antifaschistische Aktion was certainly an offshoot from the KPD, but in Germany it was preceded by the Roter Frontkämpferbund founded in 1924.There were other anti-fascist organizations that also preceded Antifaschistische Aktion, including The Arditi del Popolo founded in Italy in 1921, and in France, Parti ouvrier socialiste révolutionnaire that formed the Coalition Revolutionary to support Dreyfus, the Jews, and others being victimized by various French fascist groups. That was late 19C.In fact, one can go back to 1860's USA when the Union League stood up to the KKK, organizing self defense groups, boycotting KKK owned businesses, and occasionally destroying property owned by KKK members.Anti fascists have a long and noble history of challenging and defeating fascists wherever possible. I can't help but wonder why Tomas is so opposed to those who oppose the worst traits of humanity.¡NO PASARÁN!
There was a guy called Colson who did some really good things for his city, built schools, was a Tory member of parliament, a great philanthropist all round good guy and much admired.Trouble is he made his money in the sale and exploitation of slaves. Justice cannot be served as he pegged it 280 years ago however the good citizens of Bristol erected a nice statue to him. For the last ten years there has been a movement to rid the town of this obscenity which has been firmly resisted by the Tory town council. It came down yesterday, sans permission, pulled down by a lot of pissed off people who took it to the harbour and chucked it in….all in all a good dayPetri Dish
Rex has reverted to type.. Petri Dish and Anne \”I love blacks\” Tiffa resurrected.Yawn…..Fascism so yesterday Rex.. I doubt you even understand it, Slavery …so yesterday RexYou nothing about slavery..been around since the dawn of time…that's a heck of a lot of statues to knock over
Yes, the people who are crying \”Shame shame shame\” over the demolition of the Colson statue are the same people who were cheering the destruction of Saddam Hussein's statue. A very selective view of evil. But I guess Rossco \”I hate blacks\” the Drunken Wiggle would never get that.Rossco, why do you carry so much hate? It is neither productive nor healthy. See a specialist.Have a wank once in a while. Try to find a little love in your heart.
Yeah Rex history is so relative mate.300 years ago it is more than likely your relatives worked on slavers for a living, packing them into the holds, beating them with a whip, tossing them over board when they got sick.See back then it wasn't a crime but good business sense…And for a lot of blacks making it to America meant good times, especially relative to those left behind in Africa….Black lives matter in Africa don't they Rex… after all didn't you work there?
I have read most of what Sowell has written over the years and have been rather unimpressed.Hmm, let's see now: Sowell has economics qualifications with a Bachelors from Harvard, a Masters from Columbia and a Phd from the University of Chicago. Perhaps you just didn't understand what he wrote? He has very little recognition of community wide effects of decades of discrimination, and its effects on the psyche. There's nothing quite like seeing an elderly White Male from New Zealand rendering an opinion like that about an African-American who grew up in Harlem in the 1940's, although perhaps that place in that time didn't suffer from the community wide effects of decades of discrimination, and Sowell never observed its effects on the psyche of his fellow African-Americans.After all he thinks the National Party essentially consists of fellow travellers of communism such as myself.Oh not fellow travellers exactly. More like the mirror image of a comment made about Sowell years ago when he published his biography:It helps us understand how he could make a career of asserting and defending unpopular truths regardless of personal cost.
Anti fascists have a long and noble history of challenging and defeating fascists wherever possibleOf course you skipped right over the part where the Stalinist Antifaschistische Aktion called everybody who opposed them a Fascist, including even Social Democrats, in much the same way that we're just supposed to accept your word that you are actually \”punching a Nazi.\”It does raise a simple question though: are there any groups opposed to yours that are not Fascist?I simply call a plague on both your houses. I regard hardline Stalinists like you (please don't try to kid anybody that you're an anarchist) as being no different to the Facists, although your clothing choices nowadays do hint more of the SS than the NKVD.
Oh – and one more thing re deflection. It's noticeable that the Lefties here (and Wayne) went after Sowell while they (and Wayne) completely ignored the comments about the Democrats, Biden and unifying the USA made by Leo Terrell. Terrell being a Left-winger, as opposed to Sowell being a Right-winger, I can see why the former's criticism would be ignored.
@WayneCan you re-submit that last comment without a key name? Thanks.
Meet ANTIFA.Trump’s former secretary of defence, General James Mattis; the President’s former White House chief of staff, General John Kelly; the former commander of US forces in Afghanistan, General John Allen; the former chairman of the joint chiefs of staff, Admiral Mike Mullen; another former chairman, General Richard Myers; the former boss of US Special Operations Command, Admiral William McRaven; former CIA director General Mike Hayden; and the former supreme allied commander of NATO, Admiral James Stavridis.
Of course you skipped right over the part where the Stalinist Antifaschistische Aktion called everybody who opposed them a Fascist, including even Social Democrats,Mistakes were made, and the internecine fighting on the Left would have been better put to use stopping the rise of Hitler. However, I was not alive at that time, their faults and mistakes are not mine. Let us talk about the here and now, and why Tomas is so in favor of permitting fascists a free reign.
