Frequent commenter Ann Tiffa recently commented on Adolf’s post ‘Mostly Peaceful Protests,’ listing all the names of those killed during riots, along with plausible stories detailing alternative causes of death, unrelated to riots.
A DuckGo search of the names revealed his stories to be a pack of lies. The comment appears to be a cut and paste from an old USA TODAY with any reference to riots edited out.
Accordingly, he/she/it is banned from Adolf’s blog.
For ever.
I don’t know Anne Tiffa’s sources, as I didn’t see their post in question. But I did read yours and wondered just who or what were your sources. It seemed like just a list of the usual crimes in a country with too many guns, too much religion, and too little self control.
Good on you, mate
Good idea. Not a constructive critic, just abusive. Good riddance.
If she was using a USA Today item as a source, how is she abusing the rules? Frankly it just looks like censorship on your part because you don’t want to be contested. Very unimpresive. Unless you provide a lot more than you have done so at present.
Your most unimpressive comment yet.
You might like to re read the post.
No doubt they will be rebuilding their account to evade your shut down.
But well done.
There are enough lies in the fake news without enduring such here
Come on, Adolf. Man up.
Publish the comment and let us see for ourselves who was the liar. Perhaps you could even show how you were able to determine the source and prove it wrong.
I suspect you lack the courage of your convictions and are afraid to expose yourself to ridicule.
And for that, you can join him.
It is Adolf’s site and his property. He is free to ban anyone he chooses. I support him.
Yes, it is his site, but Adolf is not immune from criticism for his judgement on this issue.
Going by his test, Andrei should also be banned.
And Adolf, if you want to ban me, go ahead, tells me what sort of person you are.
I would point out that “Anne Tiffa” will still be able to comment on the posts of other No Minister authors. This is a blog-of-blogs.
Given how much of a troll he is (and it is a “he”) that may not count for much, given what our system catches as spam.
I support Adolf in this.
Trolling commenters typically search the internet for a story that roughly fits their argument, then ‘edit’ it suit their narrative.
How the heck did the investmentguru get into my comment?
Wayne
You really are being quite stupid! The troll was banned for deliberately editing quotes to present false information as thought it were true. Frink was banned for calling me a liar. So far, you are safe because I don’t ban people for stupidity.
Ah well your usual recourse to insult in place of argument.
Your original item tried to pretend all the deaths were from rioters and looters. In fact, as you well know, that is completely incorrect. No doubt in your mind this will be construed as a lie.
Gustavo asked you a reasonable question. The result, you banned him.
Sure it is your blog, and you can have whatever rules you want, but if you act stupidly, expect others to point that out.
I spent nearly two decades in public life. If I got upset whenever anyone said I was a lair, or used selective information, I would have been rightly criticised for that.
You are always quick to resort to insult as debating technique. Inevitably that will result in robust ripostes.
My suggestion, just accept some of the criticism, even if it offends you and even if you think it is a lie.
In short, harden up.
