I have worked out how it is that Kindy Cindy has no need to Lie in Politics.
Adopt an all new definition of Lie, Lies and Lying, no problems.

Likely a key reason for Ardern’s success as a communicator, besides her ability to transmit empathy, is that she keeps the details, concepts and vocabulary to the level a 12 year old can understand. And I see Laura Ingram, yet another former journalist like Kris Faafoi, is Labour candidate. Denis Welch ran about 20 years ago for the Alliance.
Mind you, Jenny Marcroft if NZ First, Tuku Morgan also previously of NZ First and Maggie Barry who is retiring as a National MP this election are all former journalists. As too was the first Liberal Premier from 1891 to 1893, John Ballance I think.
