I rarely link to another blog but over at Farrar’s place is an excellent summary of the substantial and credible evidence for industrial scale ballot fraud in the US presidential election, written by guest blogger Kiwi In America.

In AZ, GA, PA, MI and WI, each chamber of their Legislatures is controlled by the Republican Party. Already a joint Michigan House and Senate Committee has met in an emergency session to evaluate aspects of voting irregularities including going as far as issuing subpoenas to state election officials to “please explain”. If a Legislature decides that the State’s Presidential election was too fraught with fraud issues and it is not possible to get to the bottom of the irregularities in time, they could declare the election null and void thus subtracting those Electoral College votes from Biden or declare Trump the winner and direct the winning party’s electors to cast the state’s Electoral College votes.
This little opera is far from over and the fat lady has only sung the first few bars of her aria.

How does the USA get out of this without massive civil unrest?
The Fraud is both blatant and obvious despite the establishment and MSM doing all they can to cover it up but whatever happens there will be large numbers of extremely pissed off and angry people who will feel they have been cheated
But for the USA to lecture other countries about democracy is now just laughably absurd
Not so much “the fat lady sings” as the birth of a 21st Century dolchstosslegende. Hopefully the USA is made of stronger stuff than the Weimar Republic was.
Hopefully, though there are some disturbing similarities between Hindenburg and Biden, even without comparisons between the cultural dross of both the Weimar era and modern America.

Yes, I read the Kiwi in America item on KiwiBlog. He endorsed just about every known conspiracy theory, even though many have already been debunked numerous times.
None of this will amount to any more than a hill of beans. The legal actions will basically fail, though they may get crumbs here and there.
Biden has won legitimately and fair and square. That won’t be overturned.
Though there will be some silly nonsense for the next couple of weeks. And there will be some (but not that many) who will believe all sorts of nonsense about stolen elections.

Donald Trump gained great traction with people you and your fellow travellers consider uncouth oiks and who you lookdown your nose at but in fact the Republicans have done exceptionally well this election cycle on the coat tails of the man.

Kind of funny that you include that in a comment defending risible conspiracy theories that you got from wingnut sites on the Internet.
If you want conspiracy theories to stick – something like how the Russians colluded with Trump to get him elected in 2016 – you have to rinse that through the filter of “respected” MSM sources like CNN, the NYT and the WaPo.
Only then can you stand back and say that such a conspiracy theory is not risible.
From memory, the investigation concluded that the Russians had actively tried to influence the election in Trump’s favour but there was insufficient evidence to conclude that Trump had colluded with them. No doubt there are people who think the Trump Tower meeting with a couple of Russians is enough evidence for them to be certain Trump colluded with the Russians, just like there are people who think Andrei’s old lady in Nevada who had her ballot stolen is enough evidence to be certain of massive Democrat-led voter fraud.
Former politician endorses electoral fraud as “fair and square”. Move along, nothing to see here.

I do get why Republicans are so pissed off about all these mail-in votes for Biden. You go to all the effort and difficulty of ensuring large-scale voter suppression to ensure an unequal contest, and lots of Democrat voters just mail in their votes early instead of standing all day in the queues you’ve arranged for them on voting day. That must really hurt.

Yes, like many other things in the USA, their electoral system makes no fucking sense whatsoever. However, I don’t recall you bleating about this back then the MSM called the 2016 election for Trump, Clinton immediately conceded defeat and Obama allowed the Trump transition team to set up. Traditionally where there is ballot manipulation in the third world it is the incumbants who are responsible as they have the reins of power and can overide any safety mechanism put in place. In the swing states the Republicans are in charge but somehow those naughty Dems got into the system and caused massive voter fraud.

This is almost comical – Trump campaign lawyers getting their arses handed to them by judges for having no evidence for the claims they’re bringing to court: Trump lawyers suffer embarrassing rebukes from judges over voter fraud claims.
The cases are so lacking in substance that the only logical conclusion is that they serve a wholly propaganda purpose as theatrical props for Republican efforts to dupe their supporters into believing there was massive voter fraud in the election.
