Friday’s Fulminations

There is mild moderation.  Normal rules of blogger etiquette and courtesy to blog hosts will apply, with serious transgressors being thrown out.

Unfortunately our system does not allow your comments to show up in the blog post itself.  Just in the comments section.

Visitors might consider the wisdom of using moderate language.

  1. A plea to readers on behalf of the women who have, or will get ovarian cancer. It kills more women than the road toll but most women know little about it before they’re diagnosed & that’s one reason most are diagnosed late and that in turn makes survival chances worse. My daughter had gone to her GP for two years before an emergency admission to hospital led to her diagnosis. You can read her story here: https://www.janehascancer.com/ She is fronting a petition aimed at improving survival rates through better education for women and GPS, better access to tests, treatments & clinical trials and more funds for research. It’s non-partisan and is supported by four gynaecolcogical cancer organisations. One in 70 women will get ovarian cancer, if this petition doesn’t succeed in getting changes, it will carry on killing more than the road toll. Please sign the petition and share it to encourage others: https://www.parliament.nz/en/pb/petitions/document/PET_99389/petition-of-jane-ludemann-for-cure-our-ovarian-cancer
