Friday’s Fulminations

There is mild moderation.  Normal rules of blogger etiquette and courtesy to blog hosts will apply, with serious transgressors being thrown out.

Unfortunately our system does not allow your comments to show up in the blog post itself.  Just in the comments section.

Visitors might consider the wisdom of using moderate language.

  1. This one cracks me up.

In one voice he’s saying that the 6 hr ED time limit is not been enforced now that a family member is affected its wrong.
When National was in parliament I was kicked out of ED twice. On one occasion I had a relative that could pick me up but on the other he was in hospital himself. The weather was awful and didn’t want the wife driving an hour through that so put all the wooden chairs in a row in the admittance area and tried to get some sleep with my head on my backpack.
Worked when i was younger but at 70 it was uncomfortable. Nurse came in, saw me then disappeared. Came back saying she had put a bed in the ambulance bay. Could be noisy but you can stretch out. As she walked off she laughed and said by the way this is the bed you were admitted in.
