No Minister

Consider this: A Prime Minister starts in a solo Mother Household attends his local State High School Burnside, Graduates from his Local University with a B COM and heads out into the world of International Finance where he spectacularly succeeded becoming seriously wealthy by age fifty when he decided to enter the cauldron of NZ Politics. He rapidly advanced on merit to become the leader of his party in opposition, often described as the most challenging role in the game, then went on to become a genuine leader in world politics after having defeated another formidable person, Helen Clark who had ruled supreme for Nine Years, After facing the sadly challenging task of sorting another recession induced by socialist mismanagement in short order, coping with a devastating earthquake in a major city, dealing with an international financial meltdown that began one year after his nation was plunged into recession all the time dealing with a media intent on bringing him down.

One Sunday morning that Man and his media shy life time partner wife and mother to his two children who in many ways all became various targets for the sick modern, bereft of any journalistic ethics and decency media whores, went to a local cafe where the family had become involved in a casual social relationship with a wait person who had long hair in a pony tale. He made a minor mistake in playfully tugging the hair and the idiot media pounced and went on a rampage to use the minor over familiarity to berate him for weeks for what was deemed by the Media whores a “Capital Crime”. Of course it failed and they went elsewhere to bring imagined indiscretions and minor life incidents as negatively as possible. He evebntually left the national scene on his terms widely regarded as a good manager of his Nations treasury and maintaining an apparent welfare mentality that sees many fit and healthy idlers couch bound in a perceived workshy attitude that the then Finance Minister and eventual successor made good initial steps to make more effective and humane.

That regime was replaced by a person with zero CV entries indicating anything beyond a life school of Political safety net both in UK and then in a coddled place under the latter years of Helen Clarks rule. Failing twice to win the central Auckland seat long held by successive Labour aficionados but wrested by Nikki Kaye and held relatively easily. Staying well clear of the Musical Chairs following the Iron fisted Clark years, she watched first Goff a long serving non performer, followed by a person who had some creds as a UN functionary David Shearer who crashed and burned after hoisting two Snapper aloft in the Parliament and then David III this time Cunliffe who were all easily defeated by Key. The hapless morons then turned to a rather nasty little man who within sight of an election threw in the towel and a person hopelessly ill equipped to lead anything more Challenging than a well sponsored hugfest in the form of Socialism (Communism) International where any planning and or actual management was totally absent to lead almost totally avoiding the scrutiny and testing leader of the opposition role that destroys so many. Then after a split election was appointed By a long serving charlatan of NZ Politics in a pointed snub to his previous allies in National to be a nominal Prime minister whom he considered his very best option to promote his single figure voter approval into a very expensive bauble laden last hurrah. Then after two thirds of a term noted for excessive ill judged spending for little measurable accomplishments and threatening to be a one term PM along came the Wuflu and in the literal arms of a bought and paid for sycophantic Main Stream Media an historic electoral victory resulted. The ineptitude largely ignored by all but a handful of the media continues with a lascivious spending of over one hundred Billion printed dollars addressed this week that will have very little effect as a economic growth strategy with what should have raised serious questioning. An interim report on the Peters Party Salvation fund that has varying calculations of between five hundred thousand to over a Million dollars spent for each full time job created came and went with barely a ripple of investigation. The lying little Girl and her equally casual with truth coterie of second rate operatives lurches on to an eventual economic disaster that might just be difficult to Blame on Nine years of neglect delivering an unusually robust economic platform that cushioned much of the inane spending of the last four years.

And people still suggest there is little difference between National and Labour, come on retrieve your reason from wherever it was stashed, open your eyes and have a look at the meager information that is often hidden by some very creative publicity manipulation. It is an ongoing saga of failure that is leaving a hidden trail of disaster to be accounted for when the silly little girl trying to create a mirage of capability in the face of the reality of a growing disaster that will be buried under a mountain of debt and a diminishing ability to recover.

Yes the Muller experiment when a bunch of total idiots managed to almost sink National was an enormous setback for the National Party but eventually the truth will out despite the best efforts of the cabal who think creating another Venezuela is a worthy goal that will fail as every socialist experiment before, when business failure and unemployment emerge from the money printing Social Credit nonsense euphemistically termed “Quantitive Easing” becomes exposed as the stupidity it actually is.

  1. As Margaret Thather once said, “The problem with socialism is that eventually you run out of other peoples money”
Unless there is a change in the mindset of the average Kiwi, I don’t think anything will change for the better.

  2. Well, John Key said to the National Party conference in 2020, so long as you continue to underestimate the PM, so you you will continue to lose to her. He said Labour did that to him from 2008 through to 2014, and that National had been doing the same about the PM since 2017.

  3. It’s not a matter of under-estimating the PM. It’s under-estimating the support for her.

  4. That Lindsay, is the ongoing TRAGEDY, Underestimating the SLG is not a problem or even relevant, she is the Propaganda Minister, nothing more. The whole strategy of the Rona oxygen thieves is the Lying obfuscation and misrepresentations that are daily left unchallenged by the Media who deny all opposition any air.

  5. They are an utter and complete disgrace. Soon I could be locked up just for saying that. They are purposely destroying this once great country, with the smuggest of smiles planted on their kissers. The most wicked, inept and arrogant govt ever seen here, and still haven’t won an election fair and square, without special needs, circumstances and hyperbole. The SLG is actually piss weak.

  6. Whilst it is true we have the most incompetent government ever at the helm, sadly the #metoo Nats don’t inspire any confidence.

Judith Collins has shown she doesn’t have the cojones we once thought she had. It started when she sold firearms owners down the river and has carried on throughout the Rona debacle.

At no stage has she shown the Nats under her leadership would have done anything different, just managed it better.

Yet again the true opposition is Act.

The Nats need another Don Brash to stand up and say what needs to be said. John Key rode on the wave the Don started with his Orewa speech. It’s just a shame John Key didn’t live up to the hype. He had the opportunity of a lifetime for reform but preferred to just “manage it better” than Liarbour.

  7. This National Opposition are a complete disappointment, especially since Bridges was (stupidly) rolled. I agree, Act are the default Opposition now, hence they took several seats off the Nats last year. Collins just seems to oppose nothing and comes across as happy to go with the weak status quo of this dysfunctional, inept and destructive, arrogant govt. Why bother to vote at all.
