Time for some more mid-week humour, starting with the usual MSM ass-covering of a Democrat President with economic problems.
This one from CNBC reminds me very much of the “Summer of Recovery” and “Funemployment” themes pushed by the MSM in the first couple of years of Obama’s Presidency: I think they only gave up on the former around 2011.
There’s also some very creepy suggestions coming from the Biden administration about the extra measures that may need to be taken in order to get everyone vaccinated for Chinese Lung Rot, which naturally suggests:

BTW, it turns out that the FBI can’t even get simple details right on their affidavits, at least for the people they’re still arresting over the Capitol protest. One of the latest ones mentioned a fully constructed LEGO set of the Capitol building as one of the pieces of evidence seized, whereas the revision says it was still in the box.
If you think the following take on the Mayor of Chicago, Lori Lightfoot, is a bit too mean I invite you to consider the crap job she’s doing, especially on crime and education, that she seems to be going insane, and that she deflects all of this by claiming that 99% of the questions directed at her are driven by racism and sexism.
But back to the MSM, who apparently lack both short-term memory and self-awareness.

As an apocalyptic doom merchant speaking of silver linings, I’m inclined to think there won’t be much left of the Democratic Party, Socialism, Antifa, Critical Race Theory or Lefties in general after China goes to war with The West.

ChIna is building power Stations at a rate of knots, for example, while the West is replacing proven reliable generation systems with unreliable and expensive renewables that cannot fulfil demand
China has built the biggest and fastest high speed rail network in the world in the same time the much less ambitious California High Speed network has only managed to get 119 miles under construction, and only barely at that while this this preliminary section goes from nowhereville to nowhereville (Madera to Fresno.)
Nations on the rise provide a vision of a better future for the children of the people who are building it up – the people involved in these projects develop into skilled civil , electrical and mechanical engineers, builders, project managers and so forth
Nations on the wane the people don’t have kids , young military age males don’t have meaningful employment that develops both them and their country while law and order break down
