Friday’s Fulminations

There is mild moderation.  Normal rules of blogger etiquette and courtesy to blog hosts will apply, with serious transgressors being thrown out.

Unfortunately our system does not allow your comments to show up in the blog post itself.  Just in the comments section.

Visitors might consider the wisdom of using moderate language.

Regards

  1. Fulmination
I only vaguely knew the meaning of fulmination. Didn’t realise it meant a violent denunciation or censure ~much stronger than I understood. And had a secondary “a violent explosion”.
A word like elimination no longer mean what I understood; sustained and intensive transmission [of Covid] can refer to one bloke

  2. A current “earwig” for me is caused by the main line “I’ll feel a whole lot better when you’re gone” ~mainly referring to Dear Leader (pbuh)
    The Byrds

And another Dear Leader (pbuh) inspired song, is from a Byrds offshoot (initially), “She’s the devil in disguise, she’s telling dirty lies”: Flying Burrito Brothers

    • The WordPress system does not seem to interpret the link HTML as other platforms do.

      So although ‘< / a href=’ is the same, the end is NOT < / a href >’ but only ‘< / a >’

    • It is the spaces in the strings that screwed your links Peter
      Should be <a href=”yourlink address” >your descriptive text </a>

(I wonder if I successfully coded all that? I will only find out after I hit the post comment button and if I’ve got it wrong it will be too late – Here Goes)
