It seems to me that there are a lot of things that Police forces around the world have done in the last few years that have cost them the support of the one ideological side of the fence that had their back.
And of course when the Left decides to back the Police, you know it’s going to get bad. Think Okhrana (bad) to Cheka (good).

No Minister 
Well, for a start, they are NOT the Australian police. They are the Victorian police reporting to the Victorian premier Dan Jung Il.
Yes. It’s surprising how often people forget that Australia is a Federal state.
Still, we’ve seen similar shit from the NSW and Sydney police so I’ve no doubt that the cops in Queensland, Northern Territory and Western Australia would be exactly the same if directed by their state governments. ACT, like the Capitol Police in D.C. would be worse.
Wonder how many Victorians will support taxes and budgets for their police forces after this?
Let’s face it, like NZ, they’re increasingly useless when it comes to preventing ordinary crime but they’re perfect for enforcing health breaches of civil liberties.
They are from the Government, they are here to help….
