No Minister

More Bullshit From Australia’s ABC

Adolf’s only patronage of the ABC is listening to its FM classical music station which is excellent and possessed of knowledgeable and entertaining presenters. (One of whom is Sir Don Bradman’s granddaughter, herself a semi-professional operatic soprano.)

However, most of the $1.2billion budget goes into news and current affairs which is run by staff of whom over 70% vote Labor/Green. There is not one recognized conservative presenter or producer in the whole place and as a result the coverage is heavily biased. Hardly a week goes by without an unsuccessful defense of legal action for defamation and the worst offender is current affairs programme ‘Four Corners.’

Today the ABC carried an investigative report on ‘secret foreign’ purchases of real estate. (The zealous reporters failed to note the irony in the ease with which they were able to identify the ‘secretive’ purchasers.) Adolf’s eye was caught by a section on the dairy industry.

In the far north-west of Tasmania, farming has been a family tradition for generations.

However, in recent years, this tradition has come under threat as the area has become increasingly popular among foreign buyers.

But hang on a minute, mate! Just a bit further down:-

The De Heinrich farms were sold back into the hands of local owners this year, for $27 million, nearly double their original purchase price.

So, it seems to the leftie denizens of inner Melbourne and Sydney, this fellow committed the crime of buying a couple of farms, operating the with local labour for five years and then selling them back to the locals.

However, his real crime was that he made his money in the oil industry. And thirty years ago the bastard paid bribes to the fat black Nigerian oil minister. (Yawn. EVERYBODY paid bribe to the Nigerian oil minister.)

And now dear readers, you can sit and comfort yourself with the knowledge that your government is made up of the type of people who infest the ABC.

Trouble is, the ones in the ABC have more brains.

  1. God, they’re the same the world over, as I noted a few weeks ago in a post on Canada:

CBC is so disliked that they have turned off commenting on their various programs, there is a brand of coffee called “Defund the CBC”, and they’ve had to hire “close protection security”.

Have not heard of anything similar for the ABC yet.

  2. Adolf I hope none of them paid any money to the Nigerian shyster Michael Adeleye. He did me for just under 12,5 thousand pounds and then absconded back to Nigeria the day after the court awarded in my favour. An arsehole of the first order.

If you want to see more of him put his name on You Tube – you might even see some of my comments warning unwary people about the prick.

  3. You will notice this 4 Corners hit job was triggered by nothing more than a couple of local Tasmanian wingers complaining about furriners buying ‘their’ farms.

    Nothing’s changed in fifty years.

In the late sixties an American company, The Australian Land And Cattle Co, operated an irrigation cotton and sorghum farm on 30,000 acres of deep black soil alongside the Fitzroy River in North Western Australia.

They needed to borrow $20million to complete the project but Australian investors came up with only $750k. So, the money came from Saudi Arabia.

All I could hear was Ockers complaining about foreign money.
