Does money change hands to the “experts” (advisedly) that are paraded ad nauseam by Media or do they do it to burnish their non existent, until suddenly elevated, creds?
We are led to believe that Hendy and Wiles and who knows who else have gained access to “research” funding over their claims around the Rona gravy train that by and large lie on a floor somewhere awaiting a cleaners services.
Can any one offer evidence, do Baker, Jackson, Plank et al, get any fees when they get a minutes fame on the Telly to give an opinion on what is current, right out of their lunch box that could well be labelled, tunnel vision- apply sparingly.
Maybe they should be ‘paid’ only if modelling/predictions were proved truthfully accurate… after the event.
GD – I bet whatever they get from the TV outlets will be beer money compared to what they get from Jacinda, Chippy and Grunter for the over hyped opinions they provide them so that they can keep us all under lock and key. They seem to have more clout than St Ashley and his crew.

There’s a very chummy relationship between Labour, Te Pūnaha Matatini and the MoH. They should be independent. Instead they are pissing in each others’ pockets.
