I wonder, guidance required
If it is believed New Zealand has exceeded the 90% “vaccinated”, I am very skeptical as to that claim, then any incursions across the border of any virus related however distant to The Rona, will statistically be carried by a mask wearing, double stabbed, hand washing, servile agent of the Ardernearly gang. Yes it may be a slightly increased risk option that can be sheeted to an anti Rna inoculation person but suggested to be less than a nominal 10% for that demographic the statistics there become clouded at the very least.
I am wondering just what is the current health status of Robert Etheridge, who we are believed by the leaking of information to be a credible associate of a certain Mr C Gayford in some mysterious way. Robert’s pretty determined effort seems to have withered on a vine somewhere along with the Air NZ trolly dolly who both eventually tested positive for the dreaded Omicron virulent variant, but a concerted panic driven testing effort there has nothing to show.
It could be suspected that the two attempted incursions for Omicron have petered out but who will really know the truth of that when most only are discovered to be infected when tested allied with serious allegations of testing being cut back to avoid penalty remuneration pay rates during the Summer Holidays. On the matter of unintended consequences, just been to the supermarket for some essentials for My Birthday sustenance and lots of gaps on shelves and a pathetic offering of green capsicums, that on inquiry of my new best veggie mate in produce, apparently will not become replenished until Thursday as growers decline to pay penalty rates to pickers.
Reading comments on various blogs it might appear that restrictions, rules and edicts are coming up against increasing non compliance amongst a growing number of the war weary, fear ridden populace. Big oaks from little acorns maybe. Some of the nonsensical little constraints become daily more stupid and inane. That observed it appears the number who retain a belief, Wonder Woman is still a saviour, remain at incomprehensible levels, likely being more of a rating of intelligence than any alternative factor.
There must be quite a build up of ignored numbers that might overcome the peasantry when the elite return to impose their warped views upon us just because they can so brace yourselves for the orgy of further misinformation coming down the line.

Why are you skeptical about the vaccination statistics? The NZ govt has very good information of the number of people in NZ. The DHB’s and other suppliers know who they have vaccinated. It is all recorded and collated. Therefore you can believe it.
I know that there are many commenters on this site who think the government is so corrupt that they would just invent numbers. But New Zealand is not Russia or India or a host of other countries. We are regularly no1 or 2 in the indexes of the least corrupt nations on earth (though I know some who think that claim is of itself, corrupt).
My experience of government is that you trust these kinds of statistics. The govt (Stats NZ, MBIE, DHB’s) know how to collect data and collate it. There is really no way the data can be just made up, or false data entered in on a massive and consistent basis.
Do I need to make a list of discreprancy’s and ‘off the cuff’ rule changes to illustrate why I don’t take anything from the Government at face value?
It will be a pretty long list, and you would end up spending the rest of the day defending the the indefensible.
On second thought, I’d rather spend the next two weeks having quality time with the kids instead…, it’s a far better use of my time.
Wayne statistics and census records under the previous National Government may well have been very accurate.
Jimmy Shaw ran the last census and he was all over the place like a mad womans……. you know what so I have no confidence in any figures from that source any more.
Quite simple really Wayne, the % stabbed is I understand, based on registered DHB Patients , a number that is lower than population stats. but then I am not as well informed as some, so you may have a point.
Nothing that emanates from the Odium (silent “p”) of Truth garners respect from me as by the time the spin is applied it all becomes rather fairy tale quality IMEHO.

There is a difference between DHB data and NZ Stats population data. The difference is about 200,000. I understand it largely relates to those here on visitors visas, and who have stayed during the pandemic.
I note worldindata picked up this discrepancy about a month ago and revised NZ’s vaccination statistics. I have discussed this issue with the Associate Minister of Health by text.

I would be very surprised if the difference comes from those over 65. Almost none of them would here on visitors visa. I don’t think it is credible that 1 in 30 of those aged over 65 have never seen a doctor in the last 30 years, when NHI numbers came into being.

I noticed earlier last month was more relaxed in my area than closer to New Year. Likely Work Safe and the masked hordes from Wellington have put the Fear of Fines into various cafes in Kapiti. Sad, really, as very few want to be the govt’s brownshirts.
Noticed the Left putting out the message that a local cafe owner was discriminating against the immunocompromised by trying to welcome all customers with limited outdoor seating. The cafe was subsequently hit concurrently by Work Safe the Kapiti Coast District Council & then was subjected to further jeering & framing by Ardern’s twitter goons, one of whom was a self-identified NZ Herald reporter.
The framing of discrimination against this particular “victim class” of immunocompromised seemed really weird, like one of the left thinkers had come up with it after eating too much pav on Christmas day and finishing themselves off on New Years with a couple of bottles of red.
However, found the source. Apparently, the immunocompromised are far more likely to get covid even with 2 jabs in a study released before the end of last year. The Left must have become alarmed & thus decided to frame them as being victims of discrimination when establishments try to welcome all, to prevent the potential narrative of immunocompromised being “super-spreaders”.
