There is an obvious increase of knowledge sum that questions the validity of adopting another economically disastrous lockdown in response to the inevitable Omicron Variant wave of the Wu Flu that is hammering at the border and is amply illustrated in a cartoon adaption of that theory, two scared witless older persons are barricading their door only to have a ” virus”standing behind them asking who is it! Yet that is exactly what Dear Leader told all and sundry is what is to happen when inevitably the Omicron Tsunami hits our shores. Bereft of skills, ability and intellect, poor old New Zealand is about to be delivered another punch well below the belt, another foul that the powers invested in the Head of State might just see as incompetence requiring some intervention from that office but now thoroughly discredited of any such consideration due to total politicisation of that constraint it is now a distant memory. Sheesh there are references to Her Majesty giving thoughts of such royal prerogative to UK Prime Ministers in scarce rumours that emerge when policy might be seen as contrary to what the Sovereign might see as desirable for “Her People”, Thatcher and Blair both come to mind.

It is apparent to me that the house of cards response of the NZ Government (sic) to The Rona is in terminal decline and now the massive restoration of our Nation becomes the focus, or is that “should become”

Having blundered through two years of The Rona with a mixture of incompetence, ideology and poll driven after the fact decision making often made on the fly with no evidence of any plans being implemented, New Zealand now need to urgently develop a strategy to actually restore service going forward. The social aims of MMP might suggest an approach that transcends the ‘we can do what ever we like’ mentality that is absorbing the current executive (used advisedly) and something akin to the “War Cabinet” that saw Great Britain through the second world war and ultimately contributed to the ending of Churchills ascendancy in government might be seen as something to, at the very least, be worthy of consideration

Of course such nonsense is predicated on a now wistful desire that those who rule us have the best interests of the entire electorate as a prime driver. The egos and beliefs of the current Junta preclude that entirely as they continue to employ all the power and kudos bestowed by a bewildered electorate to give the Ardernearly gang no thought for such altruistic perversity.
