Five days ago That Woman, following considerable hype and hint through out the hours in the lead up, announced a hoped for poll reversing three month reduction in the fuel excise levy of 25 cents a liter to counter the exponential rise in fuel price that her advisers must have informed her was a significant factor in the accelerating decline in her personal popularity.
The glaring inaccuracy in her announcement, and not for a first time by a long way, indicating a dearth of understanding of what was actually involved, was there for all to see in particular for every person aware of the facts involved in “The Real World”.

The idiot masquerading as the head of government for New Zealand announced a 25 cents a liter reduction for three months on Petrol and “Diesel”. Now few are now unaware that there is NO, yes absolutely nothing by way of Excise duty levied on diesel fuel apart from GST and some regional levies but to get a contributing funding for roading infrastructure from the fuel that powers almost all trucks and utilities that provide the bulk of NZ’s income and commerce, is gathered by way of recording kilometers travelled and loaded with weight variables included in the Road User Charges scheme. Firstly by a Main Stream media totally rendered incompetent by a funding stream that is constantly revealed for creating bias and non performance in its fiduciary duty , and in the actual Parliament where all previous governments were asked the embarrassing questions and were held to account at every opportunity are today walled out by a speaker who reveals himself as totally unsuited or equipped to ensure such scrutiny exists.

Therefore a grand announcement of a relief package for the many struggling to cope with rising prices and costs not encountered for decades remains unquestioned in the face of the clear deficit of comprehension of a central plank in the causes.
That is criminal conspiracy territory.
