MORE CHICKENS COMING HOME TO ROOST
There was a near riot in the commercial centre of Paihia (Williams Road) last night extensively reported by the media. The fifty or so involved appropriated the outdoor furniture and umbrellas from outside Jimmy Jacks Rib Shack, one of our iconic restaurants, to bash each other around the chops …. nice.
Of course it has nothing to do with the fact that MSD has relocated homeless people from within the region to empty motels and backpackers accommodation in King’s Road. People with no jobs and time on their hands and with an overlay of gang involvement. Rotorua revisited.

Adolf … (1) No, mine host secured the restaurant with patrons remaining inside until the fracas was over and (2) good question … the fight started outside JJs and continued up the road to the 4 Square shop which is only 100m down from the Police Station.

Is that Police Station manned 24/7? (Or even manned?) Probably late at night cops have to come from Whangarei? NZ the way we want it yeah?

When the tourists come back and the scum have to be relocated to the suburbs they come from. It is a well known fact they prey on their peer group.
You may then well ask “When will the tourists come back ?
As NZ seems to have reverted to the 1960’s with quaint opening and closing hours back on the agenda, and having to wear funny masks in all sorts of funny places , and hop through immigration and medical hoops to get into NZ, who knows.
I see over on KiwiBlog wine and food tastings aren’t allowed anymore .. Oh dear oh dear. Socialism at its finest or is it just pettifogging
Mate of mine is off the Denmark, zero hoops.. bit like Sweden.
So it all comes down to the welcome mat and ours is only partially on the floor.
You never know National may stand candidates in local elections before the tourists come back…..just joking about the former

“Labour being kind … when will it end?” Maybe a better question is will it end. Labour is destroying our town but there are so many who support this shower.
you hear it so often in this town so many say “Jacinda saved us and won’t hear a word against her.
It’s also mostly women.
They know nothing of the co governance horror coming down the pipeline and I don’t even think the debt and inflation will register with them.
One woman I know told me she hates Luxon. I asked her why and her answer was she had no real reason. She just likes Jacinda. How do you fight against such willful ignorance.
