When the Levee Breaks

Wow. Occasionally these titles I pick are appropriate for the times.

I would love the following to be true, purely for the effects of deeply ironic comedy.

You may not be aware of this, but the copyright on Winnie The Pooh has finally expired. That’s the original Pooh of course, the Disney one is still locked up tight for many years to come. What’s the difference you may ask? Look at the following cartoon, which is merely an early stage of using good old Pooh for satire, parody,…. and other things. I’m afraid.

A friend of mine is holidaying in France at present and spotted a sign. He has questions.

Meantime, as funny as the following is, the real joke is on the STEM crowd because the pol-sci folks (and worse) are invading their world now.

With stuff like this, which was made for Porky Pig to speak.

Still some problems with the programming – at all levels!

But will it move like Jagger.

Maybe we should ask a Supreme Court Justice the following question. Oh wait!

If you desire the Internet of Things you’re a fool.

Next time you hear some Lefty going on about the Terrible Threat to Politicians and Democracy that was the Jan6 “Insurrection”, just go back further in time and recall cartoons like this, written after the Antifa/BLM riots around the White House. See, it’s funny and widely approved, both then and now, because it’s someone the Left hated.

Speaking of the Jan6 Show Trial, the Democrat/Left respect for GOP turncoat Liz Cheney as a key player in that joke lasted only as long as she didn’t get out of line with their True Beliefs:

You can thank Trump for that, Liz, as I’m sure you’ll fight tooth and nail to deny – all while calling him a neofacist!

Aside from the Twitter account Libs of TikTok, there’s also Defiant L’s, who specialises in catching the hypocrisy and double standards of Lefties with before and after shots of their opinions (like the previous one) – whether it’s cartoons, headlines, politicians, activists or ordinary people.

Oh really?

Since re-booting movie franchises has been popular for at least a decade now in Hollywood, where originality has apparently died, why not this one in our mask-wearing age. I’d pay money to see Shatner re-create the famous scream scene as KAARRREENNNNN…
