At least one minimum difference between the two is that Joe Biden is gone as of January 20, 2025. Given the low, low, core-of-the-Earth low standards he’s set I don’t think even another Democrat could be as bad.
But VVP? He’s going to die in harness, like most of his predecessors, and drag Russia down with him as he falls. I’m hoping that the Orthodox Church in Russia will – despite what they owe him – call him out sooner or later as the murderous, criminal thug he is.

Russia is turning its back on the West, and its deviancy and looking to the East, where most things are made often using Russian, energy, raw materials and technology.
The West has already poured well over 100 Billion dollars into keeping the Ukrainian conflict going, all the while neglecting the needs of their own citizens who are loosing their livelihoods as their national economies go into freefall.
In fact demonizing VVP and creating problems in Ukraine is a useful distraction (look over their a squirrel) for these utterly repulsive politicians who need a scapegoat for their own inadequacies and failures.

Ah “looking to the “east”! Yes that worked well for Russia in 1905 when a small up and coming country handed Russia its arse on a plate.
It foretold the decline and fall of an Empire.
Much as Ukraine foretells the same thing, but for another pretend empire built on sand.
The Chinese would see you Russians as nothing more than slaves, to be exploited as faint remnants of a shortlived, 110 year, Communist Empire.
It would make sense for China to invade Russia and take what it needs as China imports 80% of its oil. Then the West could invade western Russia to “protect” it, or rather ensure supply of the much needed Russian oil and gas reserves.
After all Russia needs western technology to run these assets as Russia is still struggling to build a decent Lada.
Yep there is definitely no future in the East for Russia, unless of course Japan is an option…….. ummm History never repeats
