To be fair, RBNZ Governor Orr has been snookered by Grant’s printing press / money tree running amok. This is why the 3% target in the Reserve Bank of New Zealand Act has been ignored in the last couple of years. So much for legislation guiding and constraining the government and public service in NZ.
All Jacinda has done is throw other people’s money at the indigenous activist pressure group within her caucus in a desperate attempt to secure votes and has made life in NZ demonstrably worse for the majority of taxpayers and voters. She has sold NZ a fake bill of goods in the name of wokeness and misplaced guilt. And she’s just getting started.
Sadly she will not be here to suffer the consequences after she flounces off to the UN soon after losing the election.
That will be the sorry fate of those of us that remain because we can’t or won’t pull up stumps and escape overseas.

He like Robertson has been promoted way above his capabilities. This is reflected in the politicisation and maorification of the Reserve Bank under his tenure.
