Even when you’re my teacher who confiscated it from me.

According to the River City Post, the same teacher was punched in the face two months ago by a student for whose cell phone he also confiscated. This kind of behavior seems to be the norm for Antioch High School.

And look at the reaction of the other students. The jeering, laughter and hollering. The look of glee on student’s faces. This is merely entertainment.

Given the way that US Teacher Unions supported extending the lockdowns far beyond what science – or even common sense – should have allowed, I can’t find I have much sympathy for this teacher either.

The fact is that both the student and the teacher are a representative of a society breaking down.
