And it’s schadenfreudelicious to watch a Democrat stronghold that is 92.7 percent black and voted for Biden accordingly (94%), go apeshit over 250 Illegal Aliens coming into their neighbourhood.

The MAGA bit is not my opinion but that of the editorial board of the Chicago Sun Times, who were very, very unhappy with their comrades:

We as residents have to be better than that. But some in South Shore were not last week, when they shamefully emulated Abbott’s wanton callousness in protesting the planned use of a shuttered school to house migrants.

What a pathetic and embarrassing display of NIMBYism, sounding much like an ugly “America First” rally for Donald Trump. One man even held a sign that read “Build the wall 2024.” That image alone is certain to put a smug smile on the faces of many MAGA types.

Why yes! Yes it does, but I suggest that my smug smile is no match for the smugness that oozes from these political activists even as they’re confronted with the wishes of the people. That Build-The-Wall-2024 sign, obviously really got under their skin. Watch the following:

In the beginning, we see Chicago’s “chief engagement officer” (I have no idea what that is), an obviously very left-wing individual, lecturing the audience on seeing the situation as a humanitarian crisis. The video then cut to residents shouting and screaming over those speaking as things careen out of control. Things then shift to an alderwoman from the 8th ward pleasing the crowd by rallying against the transfer of illegal immigrants. Finally, the clip ends with another woman in the audience angrily asking, “How could you do that without consulting us!?”

Well I hate to tell you this sweetie but in one sense you were consulted about this – when you voted for Joe Biden in 2020. Did you really think that only small border towns in Texas were going to continue bearing the brunt of your voting choices?

There was another, larger protest the next day and it was packed with White Supremacists:

Now, I’ve been assured by the far left and the mainstream media that suggesting one’s voting preferences could be diluted by illegal immigration is “white supremacy.” Heck, what that speaker says is far more direct and “racist” (by left-wing standards) than anything Tucker Carlson has ever said on the matter.

Understand that if any Republican said what is in that excerpt above, it would be shouted from the rooftops as a grossly racist rant. So will we get headlines proclaiming the scourge of “replacement theory” being propagated by the left? Somehow, I doubt it.

If the Chicagoans think that 500 illegal immigrants is bad they might want to take a look at El Paso, Texas:

Texas and other border states are just not going to put up with this crap anymore. Chicago and New York City have been loud and proud for years now about being sanctuary cities, so they’re being taken at their word, with thousands shipped from Texas to NYC alone, which is causing a re-think in that city:

Leaders in New York are now begging their counterparts in Texas to stop sending asylum seekers. The city has admitted 60,000 migrants in the last year and still has 37,500 people housed in 122 shelters across the five boroughs, stretching its resources to the limit.

Earlier this week, Adams called Texas’s governor Gregg Abbott “racist” for busing some 5,200 migrants to “hurt Black-run cities” of New York, Chicago, Washington, DC, and Philadelphia — even though the mayor of Philly is white. New York and Chicago are the top two destinations for migrants, according to other organizations that help migrants move from the border further inland.

Eric Adams, who declared New York City to be a proud Sanctuary City, is now weakening the law giving residents a “right to shelter” – because the tidal wave of illegal aliens that is about to crash on NYC makes that impossible.

Have they not heard of that poem on the statue in the harbour, “huddled masses” and all that? But it would seem that even the residents of NYC have had enough, judging by the reactions of a thousand or so commentators to just one NYT article on the subject (“The New York Times comment section on Title 42 border crisis reads like Breitbart comment section. 👀”), and spilling over on to Twitter:

Meanwhile Chicago’s outgoing Mayor, Lori Lightfoot, had already declared a State of Emergency on May 9 in response to the numbers coming in:

The emergency declaration signed by Lightfoot states that Chicago’s resources are “now stretched to the breaking point,” adding that hundreds of migrants are temporarily “sheltering in police stations”…

She never issued a State of Emergency during the George Floyd riots in 2020 while they trashed and burned parts of the city, unleashing a crime wave that is still growing and which destroyed her Mayorality. And Texas has been “overwhelmed” for years without Democrats like her giving a shit.

In keeping with the now standard double standard of supporting Biden and his immigration policies, she – and the rest of the sanctuary cities – just don’t want the problem in their backyard. Naturally she took time out to hit all the usual notes against the GOP, and Texas Governor Abbot:

I just heard Paul Vallas say that we should not call out racist, xenophobic practices of governors like Greg Abbott who are treating migrants like freight. That’s not my idea of a welcoming city. It’s not the idea of people who understand we’ve got to live our values daily.

The new Chicago Mayor, Brandon Johnson, is suffering the same schizophrenia for the same reasons, which are only going to grow worse:

  • Brandon Johnson: “Chicago must lead with and live by the promise to be a sanctuary city and welcome immigrants and refugees, and treat them with dignity and respect. This sanctuary promise must extend to everyone who needs it in our city, and residents both old and new.”
  • Also Brandon Johnson: “[the bussing from Texas is] wicked. It’s unconscionable. But as you all know, the city of Chicago is coming together to make sure that people who wish to find real comfort here in the city of Chicago, that we provide that.”

Got it champ. Chicago is a welcoming place for illegal immigrants, but helping illegal immigrants reach that sanctuary city is cruel and evil.
