Farrar has posted a timeline of the still unfolding “Tinetti affair” that followed a failure of over two months to correct a statement to the Parliament, and will likely see her called before “The Privileges Committee” following a referral by Speaker Rurawhe after National spokesperson for education Erica Stanford called out the hapless former head teacher, Jan Tinetti.
Not covered and even more embarrassing for the CHipkins cabal, Farrar’s timeline sees an overlap between the onset date of December seventh where it began to unravel at select committee and Chipkins elevation to succeed That Woman on January 19th.
With the elevation as her successor on the 25th of January 2023, who was the Minister of Education overseeing the initial stone walling of the Numbers at the center of “Tinetti Affair”.
None other than that Mr Fixit himself, continuing his wrecking ball performances over Education, Health, Covid management and Police portfolios.
Now that is where it really does dial up the interestinger, the clearly embarrassing attendance figures being withheld, now an albatross around the teacher’s neck but no one is asking CHipkins what did he know and when did he decide it was all Tinetti as associate Minister and nothing to see here.
For an administration (Loosely used) established five years ago as open and transparent, now well established as anything but does Lying and misleading just become normal political practise.
If so indeed, Arthur ‘Bomber’ Harris comes to mind They sowed the wind, and now they are going to reap the whirlwind.“
That unfortunately will not be the case as in opposition they will disregard the six years of destruction of society and begin again to resume where they were tossed out, October 15th 2023.
Is there anyway CHipkins as Min Ed December 7th until January 19/20/ 21/22/23/24/ can be asked at Privileges Committee or at Question Time, in light of his attempt to define “Women” any answers could be interesting indeed.
Interesting?
Not really. Wellington shit that 95% of people won’t care about.
Hell, I’m a political tragic and even I don’t care about this, for two reasons.
First, it’s increasingly par for the course with our politicians and bureaucrats to push obfuscation and half-truths into the realm of lying. Outside the ballot box there will be no repercussions even if she’s found guilty. She might not even be dismissed and if she is another even more useless Labour drone will take her place and the Education bureaucrats who actually run things (into the ground) will just keep on doing what they’re doing.
Second, it pales into nothing compared to the need for a Royal Commission with teeth on the C-19 pandemic, rather than the restricted ghost we have now, because if things are not changed permanently based on lessons learned and mistakes admitted (HA!) then we’ll do this again in the near future.
But I don’t think the denizens of the Wellington Establishment, including DPF, give a damn about the latter, since it will become useful for the coming “Climate Change Crisis.” From their perspective the lessons learned are that the control over the population was excellent – and will be again.
Totally agree. Had a look around here and at KiwiBlog after being AWOL for a long while. My eyes just glazed over on this topic. Whatever the issue is, I don’t care. Looks like a minor, throwing someone under the bus for political mileage thing. Whatever that mileage might be.
I see it’s got 37 comments, so looks like the commentariat agrees.
Much as I appreciate DPF’s Kiwiblog, he really is a creature of Wellington.
