There once was a time when Adolf regarded Sky News as a reliable source of balanced news coverage.

No longer.

I’ve noticed every day the word ‘shocking’ appears in a headline, describing some entirely predictable event. Yesterday it was the Bank of England’s 0.5% increase in the OCR. Today it was Wagner’s march on Moscow.

They must have some newly appointed double degreed executive in his first job who has decreed that ‘shocking’ attracts millions of readers. It could not have been an editor. They don’t have them anymore.

Anyway. Just for a laugh I did a search on Sky’s website for ‘shocking.’

The result is hilarious. It goes on for over seven pages!
