The NYT study, in coming to their published evidence based view of the atrocities will have caused never revealed exposure to mental trauma so easily dismissed if not considered a part, while a seasoned old farmer who ended lives of animals for meat and as euthanasia to end suffering in ways as merciful as possible, blanched at just reading the narrative thankfully sans any visuals.

No, we the merciful, the humane, the ones delegated to administer justice on the planet in this age; we say the solution for them is “euthanasia to end suffering” . Any other treatment will prolong the wider suffering and be an agreement with their insanity.
We are not perfect, we do not have all knowledge, we however must make a decision and action based on the little we know to be true. This is the responsibility delegated to us, and can only be done with humility.

Much of the legal system is rigged to actually frustrate true justice. Likewise much of social commentary. Problems are recognised and then the logical and reasonable solutions are evaded . “The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked; we cannot understand it. ”
For this madness to end, justice must be done swiftly, and be seen to be done, and must be by wider public agreement. Vermin must be exterminated, not fed. Otherwise the the insanity continues to spread; it is self-rationalising, blinding the logic of the little we know to be true.
This is the responsibility of leadership; yet we repeat the folly of electing and paying leadership who are committed to maintaining our present course of self-destruction; instead of following those who have a commitment to values of truth, justice, wisdom, and humility.
