They just can’t help themselves. Having done exactly what Vivek Ramaswamy predicted they would do – publishing an article that mis-stated his exchange with a reporter trying a gotcha question on “White Supremacy” – watch this NBC “interview” where the reporter comes across as less a journalist than an ideological and political opponent of Vivek.

Which is what she is, along with most of her ilk in the West nowadays. I also love the irony that it’s yet another White Woman lecturing a Brown person about White Supremacy.

There’s lessons here for every Right-wing politician in the USA – and across the West:

Vivek Ramaswamy’s casual ease with curb-stomping idiotic questions from the Dem cheerleading squad is a breath of fresh air relief from the stench of the roll over and play dead Republicans in Washington. I would once more remind you, dear readers, that I haven’t had a nice thing to write about this guy until now.

Republican politicians — aspiring or elected — need to learn how to say, “Wow, you’re an idiot,” to a hostile press. As most of you know, I have been writing about liberal bias in the mainstream media for over 20 years. I have seen waves of Republicans come through Washington who can’t grasp that The New York Times and WaPo will still brutalize them no matter how much you-know-what-kissing they do.

For the 14 people out there who are Ramaswamy fans: he’s not going to be president. I do see that he has a role to play in a future Republican administration, however. If a Republican does win back the White House, toss the press secretary gig to Vivek right away.

I’m already enjoying the thought of him saying, “Stupid question,” with the frequency that Biden’s former Spokesditz Jen Psaki said, “Circle back.”

That’s too minor a role: the GOP should use him as an in-house media trainer for every GOP politician and activist.

HA! The Washington Post Is in Big Trouble:

Having one of the richest men on the planet as your owner can only go so far in saving their backsides. Sooner or later those subscriber numbers and income losses have to be addressed.

In addition to churning subscribers and losing $100 million a year, the Washington Post is also failing to engage audiences. Four years ago, the Post boasted 139 million monthly visitors. By the end of last year, it had less than 60 million

Of that audience, less than one in five read more than a single article per month, while less than one in 500 actually convert to a paying subscription.

Like the NBC interviewer I think they’ve learned nothing, which is why they continue to fail – and this with Trump back in the news, which supposedly drove up numbers for them, the NYT and the MSM in general between 2015 and 2020.

As to the reasons behind this precipitous fall, I think they are fairly obvious. Nothing the Post produces is worthwhile. Their columnists are boring parrots who all say the same thing, levying the same boring attacks they were levying nearly a decade ago. Even a died-in-the-wool liberal can only take so many Jennifer Rubin columns claiming the end is nigh for the nation because Republicans get to vote.

Then there’s Taylor Lorenz, who has done more to harm the Post’s credibility in the few years she’s worked there than any other “journalist” at the outlet. She’s been caught committing multiple ethical violations dealing with her “stories,” and the response from her employers has been non-existent. Of all the people who should have been given the boot long ago, Lorenz was one of them.
