Whether comparing Leftist politics to mythology like Roman gods who ate their own children, or the creature known as Ouroburos, or showing up its self-destruction in real-life insanities like Defunding The Police, backing Burn Loot Murder and the Soros-backed District Attorney’s that have brought so much crime and misery upon the heads of their Democrat cities, you can be sure that sooner or later, their ideas, strategies and tactics will come back to bit them on the ass.

So it is with AOC (Alexandria Occasional Cortex) and her stand on the Israel-Hamas war:

The protestors are refusing to accept that AOC’s stand on the issue to date, which has been pretty tough on Israel, is enough and are demanding that she go further to join them in calling Israel’s actions a genocide.

But the real point here is that they’re using AOC’s own tactics – wild hand-waving, theatrical demands, guilting and other emotional bullying – against her. What’s truly funny about this is that she responds by simply amping up the tactics in response. She’s been outflanked to her Left, which is what always happens to Leftish politicians, even the Far Left.

And it’s not just AOC’s tactics: this shit has quite a recent history with leading US Democrat politicians, back to at least Barack “Get in their face, punch back twice as hard” Obama:

She was genuinely upset that anyone would dare to approach her in public and criticize her. She told one of the protesters that she needed them to understand that their actions were “not ok.” She then accused them of lying and claimed (falsely) that she had “already said it.” Then she and her boyfriend fled the scene.

AOC is acting all put-upon here as if the idea that citizens might approach her in a public place and hurl accusations at her is simply beyond the pale. But she and her progressive colleagues were the ones who trained these people to behave in this fashion. During the Trump administration, Democrats were cheering for and praising people who chased down members of the administration at restaurants and theaters, disrupting their meals and private time with their families. They actively encouraged the public to treat conservatives like pariahs who should not be allowed to go out in public. They also perfected the art of having gangs show up at the homes of public figures to protest and disrupt their lives.

Her supporters are behaving exactly the way she wanted them to behave, the way the Democrat party wants them to behave – against Republicans.

Not so much fun when the shoe is on the other foot, now is it?
