But of course there are always killjoys and at the time that series was on, scenes like that were verboten on America broadcast TV (and cable TV was barely getting started). Naturally this was put down to their Christian Puritanism – stupid Yankee squares and conservatives.

But over time it’s become apparent that Puritanism exists in many Western nations and in many forms, including feminism, which is why a South Korean computer game called Stellar Blade got hammered by a major game review site in the West:

[“Stellar Blade” is a] high-action hack n’ slash game that’s got the Western world hyped up and ready for its release. The only people who seem to be angry about it are the leftist game journalists who are angry that the game’s female protagonist is modeled to be beautiful and sexy. 

This caused Ossola, an IGN writer in France, to go on an out-of-place rant about how Eve is “bland,” and a “doll sexualized by someone who has never seen a woman.”

What makes that line funny is that it turned out the character was based on a real woman, a South Korean model named Shin Jae-eun.

What makes it even funnier is that the South Koreans, who don’t seem to have been as infected by Political Correctness, let alone the modern version, “Woke”, decided to address their Radical Leftist Western critics to explain why they’re such dickheads. Gamers picked up the toys they said we should be embarrassed by and went elsewhere.
