The “You” being government, the “It” being the MSM, and that quote is from an answer given by Andrew Neil, a well-known Scottish journalist, former editor of the Sunday Times, and Chairman of The Spectator in response to a question by Baroness Dido Harding. H/T to Samizdata.

I also appreciated his comment that relationships between journalists and government “should always be bad”.

Perhaps this video should be sent to every member of the current NZ government, especially every National MP, just in case they’re cooking up ideas on how to “save” the NZ MSM from their self-inflicted “crisis”.
