The second order of business is to bring anti trust cases against Google and Meta. They have proven themselves to be anti-democratic and manipulative in the extreme. They enjoy near monopoly power and that needs restricting

Third order of Business reform the American banking and finance sector. Break Merchant and Investment banking (risk taking) arms off of the the major banks. Too much risk taking off the large balance sheets of retail banking arms. Plus regulate the derivative markets re capital required to back trades – the excessive leverage is a trigger for massive damage when things go wrong
Yes its market restricting but excess financial risk taking has driven a lot of negative outcomes in the US and world economies. If the Diamond’s of this world want big profits from risk taking then they should do so on personal capital, not investors capital or depositors funds…
None of the above will happen – we live in an oligopoly based system where concentrated market power and the political control that allows is well entrenched.
