We’re still doing Halloween decorations because Beloved Daughter loves setting them up, and I’ve noticed that this continues to grow in NZ. Arriving from the US over twenty years ago one saw hardly any houses done up, although there were Trick Or Treaters cruising the streets for candy (including some rather large Pacific Island “kids”), but there’s now quite a few in our local area.

But this, like almost all the others from the US, is just too much work.

And costumes. I’d like to think we reached peak Woke and that it’s dying down since the Babylon Bee poked fun at them a couple of years ago.
