Arizona has finally reported enough votes (73%) that they could declare a decision and it is Trump who has won the state, making a clean sweep of the swing states, giving a solid Electoral College victory, 312 to 226, plus winning the popular vote by more than 4.5 million votes – and even that’s because Harris got 1.7 million more votes than Trump in The Democratic Peoples Republic of California, as have Democrat Presidential candidates for two decades now.
This means he has a mandate and since the Senate belongs to the GOP that should be easier although the House is still on a knife edge, with the GOP looking in better shape than the Democrats. However, some of those seats will take days to decide and even if the GOP wins it will be a slim majority. If they need to know how to use it they can look to how Nancy Pelosi did it in recent years.
And of course Trump and the GOP will be up against this…
No Minister 
DC is just like Canberra or Wellington, votes left all the time.
But more dangerous because it power is so much greater and because, like the rest of the USA, it runs its own courts and such in an area where political conflict like protests and riots happen – which is fine for the Left but not for the Right (as the J6 crowd have discovered).
If Trump and company go through the Department of Justice like a dose of salts – and they should start by firing the top four layers of management – I’d launch a full-scale investigation of the local courts, judges prosecutors, the lot under the DOJ’s Civil Rights division.
Actual DC residents do not comprise the elites. No elites in their right mind live in the District of Columbia, they all live across the river in Virginia, or in Maryland, and commute in. People who’ve never been there don’t realize this, but outside of the Mall, the Capitol, and the areas immediately surrounding the White House, DC itself is kind of a dump. Its residents are mostly African Americans employed in service industry work, and that’s why the DC vote skews so disproportionately Democrat, not because of the “elites”.
Oh I get it, ” the deplorables ,” are actually Democratic Party voters, Hilary got herself mixed up.!
One of my favourite Moments as the Show reached a conclusion was when Jack Tapper the Male Moderator for the ending of Joe Biden’s hidden secret was in front of the Map of the USA and asked his fellow talking head to display the Counties across the whole Nation where Harris had beaten Biden’s vote four years ago. The Talking head punched the menu button and swept his hand up over the graphic that remained Gray, there was not one single county anywhere, that is just how badly the bint performed, not one single county anywhere that she managed to exceed Joe”s result, all done from his Delaware Basement.
After reading KiwiInAmerica’s 1st part of “10 reasons why Trump Won”, I said that I’m thinking of writing a post that focuses instead on 10 reasons why the Democrats still don’t know why he won”

Aside from the US sources I’m also waiting for the Kiwi pundits to chip in. I see that Pablo over at KiwiPolitico has done so and it’s so much like some huge, black, sealed metal sphere of “don’t get it” that I just want to leave McGrath’s tweet there as one example of the cluelessness.
He’s a smart guy that I have respect for in his field of Foreign Policy, even if I might disagree with him often.
But on US domestic stuff he just doesn’t get it.
