Why would you do any of that unless you wanted to cheat?

To see what the GOP was facing in the 2024 election requires a history lesson, and the following article, Democrat Voter Fraud: A Brief History, is a good summary to start with.

Ancient History: Democrat Fraud

The Dems have been cheating since they first emerged from the roiling chaos of Andrew Jackson’s id. Tammany, the Locofocos, the Jim Crow South, Frank Hague, Tom Pendergast, Harry Hopkins, the Cook County machine, Joe Kennedy, Lyndon Johnson… It’s one long saga of corruption from beginning to end.  

The ones from the last twenty years fit right in, details at the link for each of these bullet points:

  • The Dinkins Magic Voting Machines (1993 NYC Mayoralty)
    A number of voting machines were found in a closed Manhattan school. All the machines were loaded with votes for Democrat incumbent David Dinkins. They were discounted and Giuliani won.
  • An Inconvenient Decision (2000 US Presidential)
    The Democrats wanted recounts only in Democrat strongholds such as Dade County while shutting down recounts in GOP counties…The Florida State Supreme Court [] found in favor of Gore’s demand that ‘undervotes” – ballots showing no presidential vote at all – be counted, while at the same time “awarding” him nearly 500 votes, a novel concept unheard of in American jurisprudence up to that date. SCOTUS stomped on that crap and Bush won the state by 537 votes.
  • Votes from the 8th Dimension (2004 Washington State Governor)
    GOP Rossi beat Democrat Gregoire by 261 votes on election night. A machine recount still had him ahead by 42. The Democrats paid $700k for a hand recount and votes magically appeared from everywhere (such as an electoral official’s car). Gregoire won but Rossi kept fighting over blatantly illegitimate votes, which were tossed by one judge, reinstated by the State Supreme Court, and finally settled in favour of Gregoire six months later when another judge booted the “chain of custody” rule.
  • Goshdarnit, People Liked Him (2008 Senate, Minnesota)
    GOP Coleman beat Democrat Al Franken by over 700 votes election night. Once again during the recount votes appeared from many odd places and Franken won by 312. Shortly afterward it was discovered that at least 1,099 illegal votes had been cast by felons.

He doesn’t even list the infamous Ballot Harvesting rules first tried out in California in the 2010’s and from his perspective in 2022 damns the uselessness of the GOP in fighting these things before the election, highlighting both the 2020 and 2022 elections where rules on validating ballots were simply dumped in many states.

2020 is of course a whole story in itself across the nation, where Joe Biden supposedly ran up 81 million votes, showing him to be vastly more popular than…. Barack Obama in 2012? Who the hell could believe that? You could argue that it wasn’t Biden Love but Trump Hate that produced such an extraordinary result but….

  • Altogether, 26,669,134 more votes were cast in 2020 than in 2016.  Approximate 20.6% more votes were cast than were cast four years earlier:
    • Trump increased his vote by 11,239,147.
    • Biden increased his vote by 15,429, 987 from Hillary’s 2016 result.
  • From 2016 to 2020, the population of the United States increased by 8,731,805 — roughly one third the increase of voters from 2016.
  • “So we are asked to believe that the voting base increased at three times the rate of the population.  And no one is to question this?”
  • “There can be a surge in voting when elections are hard fought, but 20.6%?“
  • Among Democrats, it increased 23.4%.  That is not a spike; that is a lift-off.

Of course ballot fraud in 2020 may not have come close to the other things that went on, especially the suppression of the Hunter Biden laptop story by the MSM, Twitter, Facebook and the rest of the Social Media giants. Following the vote, polls revealed that up to 17% of voters would not have voted for Biden if they’d known about Hunter’s escapades featuring hookers, crack, stifled investigations, payoffs from China and Ukraine, and 10% for the “Big Guy”. Now that’s “election interference.”

Recent History: Democrat Fraud in the battleground states

In 2020 the Democrat Party pushed hard on the notion that in many states millions of voters would be disenfranchised because they were terrified of physically going to the polling booths due to the Great Chinese Lung Rot Pandemic and the rules around mail-in ballots were too rigid. In many cases legislators and courts bought this argument. C-19 really was a gift to the Democrats across-the-board, enabling Biden to campaign from his basement to start with.

PENNSYLVANIA
The State Supreme Court, ignoring the State Constitution that said only legislators could write the election rules, declared that ballots were still valid even if they:

  • Were posted three days after the election or had no posting date at all.
  • Could not be matched to an address.
  • Did not have a signature that matched the one on file, or had no signature at all.

Why would you do any of that unless you wanted to cheat? These things were still in place for the 2022 Mid-Term elections. Thankfully by 2024 things had vastly improved, as the Buck County cheaters discovered the other day.

ARIZONA – 2020 & 2022.

In 2022 the US-British Libertarian site Samizdata did a deep dive on electoral fraud in this rather obscure state (even though it was officially a battleground state in 2024). It turns out that there was an official audit of their 2020 election, mandated by the State Senate. They did not get a lot of help from the key county in the State, Maricopa:

By the County withholding subpoena items, their unwillingness to answer questions as is normal between auditor and auditee, and in some cases actively interfering with audit research, the County prevented a complete audit.

Why would you do that unless you’d cheated in the election? Oh but it gets worse….

Arizona Senate President Karen Fann and Arizona Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman Warren Petersen have pressed the county and Dominion Voting Systems to produce routers, traffic logs, mail-in ballot envelopes, and other information in their investigation. The county has refused. … in its response MCBOS [the Maricopa county election administrators] failed to explain why it is not required to comply with the legislative subpoena.

Why would you do that unless you’d cheated in the election? Despite all this obstruction:

This very cautious audit nevertheless found 23,344 mail-in ballots voted From prior address (and no one with the same last name remaining at the address), 9,041 more ballots returned by voters than were sent to them, and so on and so on for a total of well over fifty thousand flagged ballots (more than five times Joe Biden’s declared margin of victory) – the data breakdown is in the Maricopa County Forensic Election Audit

A private canvas audit was done where hundreds of canvassers went door-to-door verifying registration and voting information for thousands of residents. This is what they found:

[T]he canvas audit found enough cases to estimate 173,104 such “missing or lost” votes (plus four times as many unknown-at-address/departed-from-address mail-ins as the state audit reported). That’s enough for a many-times-over result reversal even if your estimate of the unreliability of the canvas’ audit’s estimates is high.

Since nothing much was done to fix this, the same shit happened in the Mid-Term elections in 2022 – the same election bureaucrats were running Maricopa County and the Democrat National Committee sued to stop laws against ballot harvesting (Why would you do that unless you wanted to cheat?) – and of course the lower voter turnouts in a Mid-Term election means that cheating can be even more effective:

The 2022 election had the same post-pandemic-look as before: floods of ballots were mailed out, a long postal-voting prologue ended in an election day of bizarre oddities and implausible errors, followed by a dragged-out post-election-day count.

On what we once called election day and should now call in-person-voting day, the opening of the polls instantly revealed printer problems, ballot reader problems, people waiting hours to vote or giving up and visiting another station and finding they could not vote there either, and so on. The administrators said they would sort it all out and ensure everyone got to vote – then issued incorrect instructions to their subordinates on how to work around the problems. Etc., etc.

MICHIGAN

WISCONSIN

  • In 2021 the State Supreme Court ruled that use of ballot drop boxes in the 2020 election was illegal and would be so going forward. Again, too late for that election. Drop boxes, gleefully permitted by the Wisconsin Election Commission, especially the Deputy Administrator Megan Wolfe, were a major part of the “Zuck Bucks” scheme across other states as well, where the Facebook CEO, Mark Zuckerberg, poured in $400 million to get Joe Biden elected.
  • But through 2023 and 2024, the Republican Speaker of the State House – an outspoken critic of Trump – refused to impeach Wolfe, despite a detailed account of numerous instances where she either bent or twisted state law in favour of Democratic candidates in Wisconsin’s 2020 election,

That last, where a GOP opponent of Trump effectively sided with the Democrats, also happened in….

GEORGIA

This one I especially love because it showcases one of the aspects of politics known for 2000 years – that you own side will be the one that knifes you; How Raffensperger Tried To Memory-Hole The Election Law Trump’s Georgia Call Was About:

In May 2021, I gave nearly 35,000 voter records to our secretary of state for an investigation into votes cast in the 2020 general election with residency issues, which his office had already agreed to open. The analysis of the voter data I had done on or about Nov. 25, 2020, indicated those voters had filed changes of address to an address in a different county more than 30 days before the election, but they had apparently failed to re-register there and wound up casting ballots in their previous counties.

The focus was on Fulton County and Raffensperger (GOP) not only let it slide in court but let Trump “twist slowly, twist slowly in the wind.” over the phone call where Trump thought that tens of thousands of Georgia votes should have been thrown out, allowing him to beat Biden. Months later….

Even in States that are not in play for the opposition, there is always some incredible stunts being pulled.

INDIANA – 2024
A GOP state. Indiana State Police investigated hundreds of fraudulent petition signatures and addresses. This was in St. Joseph County, where the local Democratic Party leader was convicted a decade ago on a petition forgery scheme. It’s what you used to hear about Florida’s Broward County.

LOUISIANA – 2023
A GOP state. A Louisiana Supreme Court justice overturned the results of a Nov. 18, 2023, runoff election for Sheriff that was decided by a single vote for the Democrat out of 43,000. The State Supreme Court said that “It was proven beyond any doubt that there were at least 11 illegal votes cast and counted… it is legally impossible to know what the true vote should have been.” Four justices had to recuse themselves because of their Democrat connections, which gives some hope.

CHICAGO, ILLINOIS – 2024
A One-Party Democrat State. Of course. The poster child for Democrat cheating over almost a century of elections. This year the fun race was the Democrat primary (the GOP doesn’t count) for State Attorney (basically the Chicago DA) where Democrat Eileen Burke got a solid election night victory over Democrat Clayton Harris – who is basically a communist – but then had her lead cut by 1.8%, or 2000 votes, after a mail-in ballot dropbox full of 10,000 ballots that were not postmarked or dated was “found“. In the end Burke hung on.

As the Samizdata guy said above, but instead looking at Illinois’s past, it’s instructive as to how the Democrat Party operates across the entire nation:

But because election day was just one day, a typical Tammany Hall repeater might vote as little ten times per election. A few decades later, that was still the order of magnitude of Mayor Daley’s “Vote early, vote often!” goons in Chicago, when they had only a single day in which to get each vote, write it and then walk back to a polling station after having it checked by a senior (Mayor Daley needed a lot of goons to reach the amount of fraud he required, and it seems he did not trust every low-level Chicago goon to vote as instructed if the goon’s ballots were secret 🙂 ).

CONNECTICUT – 2023
A very Democrat State. The following sounds familiar – and if the Democrats do this in small elections and their own primaries why wouldn’t they do it in larger elections.

  • In a Democrat primary race for Mayor of Bridgeport the challenger, Gomes, was was ahead of the incumbent, Ganim, on Election night. But after some midnight magic Ganim won by 251 votes. Gomes fought this and video emerged of a Ganim ally stuffing a ballot box with mad stacks of votes.
  • “The court finds the plaintiff has met its burden of proof and established violations in the placing of absentee ballots into drop boxes by partisans who were not designated to handle such ballots and that the volume of ballots so mishandled is such that it calls the result of the primary election in serious doubt and leaves the court unable to determine the legitimate result of the primary,”

VIRGINIA – 2024
A very Democrat State. The Democrats passed a bill designed to place criticism of election officials – for example by poll watchers objecting to violations of election law – into the category of “hate crimes”. Such a designation would also enable to Social Media sites to bury any accusations against election officials.

The really funny thing is that in the wake of the 2024 election it’s none other than Democrats who profess to be surprised as they compared Harris’s woeful turnout to that of Biden. A real mystery isn’t it?
