The juiciness continues to be delicious….
I guess they had no choice but to lie that President Biden wouldn’t pardon his ne’er-do-well son, Hunter Biden, when directly questioned about it – and by “they” I mean everyone from “President” Biden on down.
They had to lie for the following reasons:
- It would have hurt Biden’s campaign.
- Once he dropped out it would have hurt Harris’s campaign by association.
- The Democrat Party had defended their lawfare attacks on Trump with the “No One Is Above The Law” bullshit for so long that they could not afford the political damage of showing clear double standards and hypocrisy.
- Same thing for their fanatical, ruthless pursuit of the J6 people.
Of the crimes themselves:
- Hunter Biden pled guilty in September for failing to pay $1.4 million in taxes (potentially 17 years in the clink), but only because two IRS whistleblowers revealed the preferential treatment he was getting from the IRS and DOJ.
- He was found guilty in June for lying on a federal form regarding a firearm purchase. Even then it took a judge to first collapse the cosy deal Hunter’s lawyers had crafted with the DOJ that would have seen him skate on even these.
But those were merely scratching the surface of the family business going back a decade or more and this pardon covers that time period in a sweeping fashion. In fact it’s not even rounded to ten years but a strangely precise eleven!
Just hours earlier on the Sunday his lawyers had published a 52 page letter practically begging for a pardon before the evil Trump could victimise poor Hunter even further – “There is no disputing that Trump has said his enemies list includes Hunter”– the joke being that Trump has said it’s quite possible that he would have pardoned Hunter.
None of that matters now so we get to enjoy more of the schadenfreudeliciousness that has overflowed the cups of the Right Wing since November 5, 2024.
Of course this will also put a complete stop to any follow-up to the House investigation of these matters, which showed that the entire Biden family was up to their necks in selling access to old Joe. The following is just the China stuff.
As far as the J6’rs are concerned there will likely now be little outcry when Trump pardons most of them.
It’s also a great time to remember the role played in all this by the MSM as they continue to show they have learned nothing…

Oh that just made my day. It’s been fun watching Biden trash things for his own party, but he’s now provided a complete master class in knee capping the Democrats and their “holier-then-thou” attitude.
“No reasonable person who looks at the facts of Hunter’s cases can reach any other conclusion than Hunter was singled out only because he is my son,” Biden said.

This is probably the least surprising political action of the year. Nobody believed Biden when he said he wasn’t going to pardon his son, and now he’s lived down to expectations.
In terms of Hunter himself, whether he was punished for his crimes or not isn’t particularly important, which even Trump recognized by floating the idea of a pardon himself. The problem is the corruption of “The Big Guy”. Fortunately, that will soon be academic as well. Voters have already dispatched the Biden/Harris Junta. But the irony is that the Biden family’s influence for cash deals were, by scores of degrees, far worse than anything Trump may have said on the phone call used to impeach him.
Yet still, David Farrar pretends that this is somehow equivalent to whatever he thinks Trump did with “muh norms”.
