I doubt the MSM headlines about Trump’s return to the Whitehouse will match those covering Napoleon’s return from exile in 1815, the TDS hate is too strong and the penalties for attacking him non-existent – although their own Lefty audiences abandoning them since the election, apparently because they’ve realised they were being lied to, may be their death knell. Certainly the remaining TDS sufferers like MSNBC aren’t getting the love they did in 2017 for their stand as The ResistanceTM.
Still, given that the likes of Zuckerberg and now even Bill Gates appear to have joined the We Are All Trumpists Now Club (Gate told the WSJ what a thoughtful and knowledgeable man the incoming president is) it is starting to look a bit like the history recorded by Dumas.

Most American expats in NZ are certifiably insane. My wife tried in vain to interact with them. Many of these people fled Portland because it was too Right Wing for them. I understand the casual bigotry of New Zealanders against Americans because so many that they encounter are just nuts.
I can’t think of a single American that my wife has befriended in a quarter-century here in NZ.
