This morning The Sun (UK) tells me that there has been a school shooting involving at least 10 fatalities in Sweden.
Nothing at all on NewstalkZB about the incident.
This raises two questions for me:
1/ Are we now that inured by the quantity of shootings that they no longer qualify as news?
2/ The Sun report quotes authorities as stating there was no terrorism motive involved. Does that automatically mean the murderer was a muslim immigrant (yet again)?

The police and news are assiduously avoiding saying anything about the ethnicity of the shooter. If the shooter was white we would have been told. Dollars to doughnuts the shooter is an adherent to the Religion of Peace.

Simple use of propaganda.
We are supposed to believe that there is no gun related crime in countries with strict firearms regulations and that the “common people” have to be prohibited from access to firearms “for the common good”.
School shooting and other crimes involving guns are emphasized because owning firearms is A RIGHT in the USA.
In most other countries it is A PRIVILEGE controlled by the minority of people that are politically active and influential and school shootings are the most useful “justification” for prohibiting the common people from legally possessing firearms.
The legal possession of firearms and other “weapons” (including a pocket knife) are strictly regulated in Scandinavian countries as I found out when I used a small pocket knife to sharpen a pencil over there.
Incidents indicating the ineffectiveness of draconian restrictions of our Natural Rights by government authorities do not support the delusion that disarming the common people is protecting them from violent criminals.
For instance, we are told that there is no gun crime in the UK.
Quite a few people are shot and killed in the UK but that “news” is not promoted by the Neo-Marist media propaganda.
It is quite easy to illegally purchase a handgun in the UK if you know the right people.
The reporting of “grooming gangs” that have been assaulting and raping white women in the UK has been suppressed and denied for over a decade because about 85% of these crimes are committed by young Muslim males that we are supposed to regard as “victims of social and economic injustice”.
Woke is the religion of the modern Marxists “intellectuals” that have taken over our political parties and governments by using identity politics to divide, conquer and rule us.
The rest of the people are the fools that have accepted the woke delusions and allowed their natural rights to be violated and taken from them.
The recent election of Donald Trump is evidence that more USA citizens are rejecting the deluded woke ideologies and propaganda that is destroying their society, culture, unity and prosperity.
The citizens of New Zealand don’t seem to be as intelligent and are still being manipulated by the Neo-Marist propaganda.
Kiwis better smarten up while they can still can.
