New Zealanders can spot the letter “Z” faster than any other people on Earth – John Clark
If you’ve spent any time at all in the last twenty years arguing with Lefties about America you’ll likely have had thrown in your face something scathingly funny supporting the Lefty view, from the American comedian/social commentator/talk show host, Bill Maher.
Maher has been a dream choice of snark for the global left in such arguments because of these aspects of the man:
- He’s an atheist who loves ripping religious groups, especially Christians, for their “stupid Sky Fairy beliefs”.
- He’s an unmarried, self-admitted libertine who loves all manner of drugs and sex and mocks the right-wing squares who want to restrict sexual and drug activity. This ties in perfectly with the fact that he’s a Boomer who came of age in the late 60’s/early 70’s.
- He hates the Republicans, especially during the Bush years and Trump’s first Administration.
- He very much likes the Democrats, especially Barack Obama.
However, in the last couple of years he’s begun to stick it to various aspects, primarily the Woke aspects, of the Democrat Party and the Left in general, which I’ve documented here, and for which I’ll add in some specific clips below the fold.
But this one is going to really upset those NZ Lefties who’ve been using Maher as a snark patu against the Right.
He starts off by talking about the current “Land Acknowledgement” bullshit currently running through Lefty circles, including the recent Oscars clown show with the following from some Hollywood entity I’ve never heard of:

I’m sure Julianne Hough is sincere about her love for the Chumash people, but I doubt she drives to work in a canoe, scavenges for acorns, or lives in a dome house made of reeds and dried mud.

Can we please get over this idea that ancient people weren’t just as full of shit – in fact, more full of shit – than humans today?. This idea that being ancient and Indigenous was always better than us? It wasn’t!

I’m just thankful that his writers didn’t go further with their research and uncover such gems as this:

Oh dear. Another Lefty discovers one of their heroes has clay feet.
I especially like the part where “Bomber” the atheist goes all gooey when his daughter says a Maori prayer at the dinner table before they eat. Were it a Christian saying grace he’d probably tip the table over.
