Malcolm “Turncoat” Turnbull who was always in the wrong Party but had a total focus to become an Australian Prime Minister so intent, he Joined up with the Liberals when all his approaches to The Australian Labor Party went rebuffed, only to be delivered not one suggestion he was not really wanted but two by that party, went on a latest “destroy what I cannot have” mission ie a Liberal National Government.
It has come about with a very stupid TV assault on Trump as the US closest Ally is grappling with the threatened Tariffs on Iron and aluminium, in an ill advised torrent of abuse for no other reason than apparently to satisfy a narcissistic belief in his relevance.
Turnbull is a legend in his own warped mind and not content to leave any Australian Federal Government to deal with the US already in serious trouble with Rudd the current US ambassador struggling for relevance, this outburst will be of no assistance whatsoever.

His derisive dismissal that Trump is a bully when much of the Turnbull personality is just such a narcissist driven MO for himself but few have the cojones to tell him that unfortunate fact.
Both Albanese and his opponent Peter Dutton will be less than grateful for the injection of TDS at a very delicate time in history.
