New Zealand’s only realistic defense strategy.
There has been considerable comment recently about both Worldwide and local military defense.
The latest I’ve read being by Don Brash on Breaking Views.
Mr Brash, typically for him, starts off well but then spoils it.
One good point Mr Brash does make is the recent Chinese warship exercise in the Tasman being reciprocation for a New Zealand vessel (and an Ocker one) sailing through the Taiwan Straight.
I can, upon consideration, understand the Chinese angst at this action. The Taiwan Straight is only 130Km wide in places.
Given recent events regarding the New Zealand Navy and noting those in command of it’s larger ships, The Chinese must have been shit scared of a largish boat crashing into their shores.
Could they find China?????
Only accidentally.
