It was bad again today.

Lunch, I mean.

First the Maitre d’ and the wine waiter appeared to be arguing when I arrived and the seating was haphazard to say the least – I ended up being seated right next to Michael, a cis white male, and Jessica, neither of whom identify as brown like me.

Disgusting eh?

The menu was very limited, only three options today with the fish dish being crayfish and oysters in their shell – AGAIN! No entree today either – apparently the order got lost so the caviar remains uneaten.

I had a salad.

The wine waiter only offered two choices, a Rose from the Loire or champers from a rather less-known winery.

The hot fruit pie (guava and peach) with ice-cream for dessert was only luke warm.

I’m not sure I can carry on my studies after such disgraceful fare.

I suppose, because my parents identify as brown and therefore pay negative taxes, people think we should be grateful for this rubbish but this simply is not good enough. We poor, hard-done-by pupils can’t live on this.

School lunches MUST be improved!
