Because what Scott Jennings has to say is always worth an update.

Plus these excerpts from a Vanity Fair interview of the authors of one of these books:

At that point, in June 2024, President Biden’s physical and mental capacities had long been a central issue in the campaign. Was his terrible debate performance still a surprise to you?

Parnes: It was just stunning to watch.
Allen: We’d been watching Biden’s decline for a long period of time and, honestly, thought he had lost his fastball some when he was running in 2020. And it was still so shocking to see the leader of the free world so bereft of coherent thought.

Your book describes the lengths to which the president’s longtime inner circle—including first lady Jill Biden and senior advisers Mike Donilon and Steve Ricchetti—went to hide that decline. Who was most responsible?

Parnes: All of them. It’s pretty remarkable how they kept him very closed off. He was a shell of himself. When he entered the White House, he was so, so different from the man who I covered as vice president, a guy who would hold court in the Naval Observatory with reporters until the wee hours.

These books, seeing that video of Kamala Harris and then these videos of Tim Walz the last few days, boy did we dodge a bullet, lord have mercy.

It can all be told now: I sat here all during the campaign and was assured that Joe Biden was fine. Kamala Harris had the most organic grassroots driven campaign. The Democrats were unified. We had a campaign of joy. Everything was hunky dory. That’s what I was told night after night: Now the books are coming out. Our own government from the White House podium lied to us about his condition, covered it up. We lived through the biggest scandal in modern American politics.

Not the Climate Change Hide The Decline, but the US MSM’s desperate efforts to hide the decline of Biden’s brain as his term wore on. With the election done, Trump triumphant and Biden slipping quietly out of D.C. with hardly anything heard from him in the months since, I’d hoped to never write of the senseless old prick ever again, aside from occasional references back to the poor decisions he made – or I should say, his staff made.

But the reason I have to write something is that apparently there’s a whole bunch of books heading our way by American journalists, most of them based in Washington D.C., revealing all the dirt and problems and infighting that grew as they tried to keep him in power.

I’m not going to read any of these “revealing” tomes because of the sheer fucking effrontery of these MSM hacks at trying to tell us now how they were fooled and deceived. What bullshit, and this article sums up my attitude towards them:

This information is all well and good – but a simple question should be posed. Where are the apologies to those who used their eyes and ears to observe Joe Biden’s decline and were labeled “cheap-fake artists” and conspiracy theorists for talking about it contemporaneously? Where are the book deals for journalists at the Wall Street Journal who reported on Biden forgetting names and faces behind the scenes? Columnist Karol Markowicz wrote in April 2022 at the New York Post, “Biden’s decline is obvious to everyone but the press.” Where is her book deal and Morning Joe media tour?

Journalists who chose to look the other way in service of making sure Donald Trump did not return to the White House do not deserve to be financially rewarded for revealing all the sordid details of Biden’s decline, if they deceived the American public and participated in a massive scandal and cover-up at the time. They should not be writing books. They should be apologizing to the rest of us.

Over on Fox, Greg Gutfeld eviscerates the arrogant, hopeless MSNBC host of “Morning Joe”, Joe Scarborough (actually a former GOP congressman) for his sudden discovery about Joe Biden – after Scarborough had made probably the most hacktastic defence of Biden prior to that debate.
