If you haven’t heard of Coachella, it’s the most expensive, elitist music concert in the world, held just outside of Palm Springs, California, every year. Tickets start at $600 and a weekend of food, lodging and merchandise could cost $1000 or even $5000. It’s a sign of the times that poor old Gen-Z is having to buy the tickets on a layaway plan, but that won’t stop 80,000 to 100,000 fans turning up as usual.

If you haven’t heard of Oligarchy the Left will soon be here to repeatedly yell it at you, but here’s the Mirriam-Webster dictionary instead:

  • Government by the few.
  • The corporation is ruled by oligarchy.
  • A government in which a small group exercises control especially for corrupt and selfish purposes.
  • A military oligarchy was established in the country.
  • A group exercising such control.
  • An organization under oligarchic control.

So naturally it’s the perfect place for the old communist from Vermont, Bernie Sanders, to rant about this new hate word of the Democrat Party, although he’s been using it a long time. He’s now warning that “oligarchy is rapidly approaching”:

Bernie’s current partner in stupidity is AOC as they ramble across the USA in the hope that her profile and Bernie’s True Believing background in communism, will set her up for the 2028 US Presidential Race (for which I refuse to create a tag in 2025 FFS).

Like Bernie, AOC knows how to live the fight against the oligarchical rich, even if she doesn’t own three houses as he does, after a lifetime of nothing but politics and political agitation. America is awesome.

Incidentally Coachella guests have reported stolen belongings from hotel rooms, with a couple of groups totaling to $100,000 for them. But this is surely okay by the standards of Bernie and AOC since we were told in 2020 by their supporters – including the New York Times and NPR – that this sort of five-fingered wealth distribution was perfectly acceptable. Good to see that’s apparently no longer the case.

BTW, since its inception George Soros’s Open Society Foundation has given Democrat NGOs and candidates $32 billion.

Tell me about oligarchy again.
