There has been a great deal of angst since the USA imposed new import tariffs on foreign goods.

An aside: Almost ALL reporting of this issue forgets that it is the USA, not it’s elected representative, that imposes the tariff. Mass TDS?

This headline and accompanying story epitomises the reaction by the slime.

I haven’t listened to the “clip” (I’m deaf) but even if you can forgive the disgraceful non-editing the incompetence of the “promo” writer is evident. Basically the writer is saying that the USA is bad because it is protecting USA citizens’ jobs and hence making the EU dictators work for their money to do the same.

Personally I don’t like nor value import tariffs and I view the Trump-ordered, USA imposed tariffs as simply a marketing tool to strengthen the USA’s negotiating position while ensuring that the rest of the World will actually come to the table and negotiate in good faith.

From reports, President Trump’s strategy in this has worked. The world is rushing to his door.

Meantime there is much amusement and mirth to be had watching the reaction (as above) of the anti-everything-Trump-does slime.
