Said British Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer in a bombshell speech the other day announcing restrictions on immigration.

I’ll be interested in whether turns into anything real or whether it’s just the usual political backtracking in the wake of terrible polls and the meteoric rise of the Reform party, both in the polls and now in election results?

After all, in Germany we saw the new Chancellor immediately reverse all his election talk of getting tough on their immigration, returning to the very status quo that helped bring down the previous government, of which he was a part.

Speaking of reform, will anybody ask Sir Keir to reconcile this with his comments a few months ago about “the dangerous right-wing politics of Reform”?

Perhaps he’s finally got around to watching the latest Channel 4 documentary on the rape gangs, now including testimony from the adult woman about how they were handled by the Pakistani rape gangs:

I look forward to Keir Starmer hosting a special summit on the Channel 4 documentary, Groomed. And to hearing him gush about it every time a reporter puts a mic anywhere near his mouth. And to seeing his proposals for showing it to teens in schools across the land in order that we might prise open their innocent eyes to the dangers of so-called grooming gangs.

These girls were sacrificed at the altar of preserving the ideology of multiculturalism.

After all, he did all that for Adolescence, a Netflix drama about a made-up crime against a fictional working-class girl. So surely he’ll do it for a documentary that lays out in grim, eye-watering detail the industrial-scale horrors that were inflicted on real working-class girls by gangs of mostly Muslim men in towns across England.

Groomed: A National Scandal aired on Channel 4 last night. It is a searing piece of journalism, a fearless document of the barbarism of the rape gangs and the unforgivable nonchalance of officials who looked the other way. Director Anna Hall deserves every accolade for getting this film out there, in the face of a cultural elite that would rather talk about anything else on earth than the brutalisation of white working-class girls by Muslim men

Anything would be an improvement on the deflections about this that he indulged in a few months ago, seemingly more angry at Elon Musk for raising the issue again – like the rest of the Establishment to which he so comfortably belongs:

If the debate raging in society is about why the authorities turned a blind eye to vulnerable girls, many of them in care, being drugged and raped over decades; if ordinary people are once again reading these accounts and wondering why police and councils decided to prize ‘managing race relations’ over keeping children safe; and yet your primary concern is polishing your and your colleagues’ halo, then you have taken leave of morality, common decency and humanity. The combination of narcissism and cowardice is staggering.

Or perhaps someone showed him these predictions from 2009 by an unquestioned Man Of The Left, making an eerie contrast with Starmer’s own statements from 2024?

Or maybe he just witnessed this last Christmas:

=======================

I’ll leave readers to suggest which xenophobic fascist, worried that their nation’s culture is under threat, uttered these words – and no cheating using Grok or other online search tools, guesses are wanted:

Nations depend on rules, fair rules. Sometimes they’re written down; often they’re not. But either way, they give shape to our values, guide us towards our rights, of course, but also our responsibilities, the obligations we owe to each other….When you have an immigration system that seems almost designed to permit abuse… one that is sold by politicians…. on an entirely false premise, then you’re not championing growth, you’re not championing justice. You’re actually contributing to the forces that are slowly pulling our country apart

He appears to have been listening to an advisor on terrorism and counter-insurgency who recently talked of the possibilities of civil war:

if you want to create domestic turmoil in a society then what the British government has been doing is almost textbook exactly what you would do, and that’s according to our own written-down doctrinal understanding of things.

The post will be updated later today to reflect the revelations and discuss the implications a little further.
