In Christianity, Purgatory is a passing intermediate state after physical death for purifying or purging a soul…. It is entirely different from the punishment of the damned and is not related to the forgiveness of sins for salvation… the non-vindictive “temporal (i.e. non-eternal) punishment” of purgatory.

I think it’s only Catholics and Orthodox Christians who believe in the concept of purgatory? But even for those who don’t the following news has been a test in dealing with Original Sin:

A group of 49 white South Africans–mostly Afrikaner families–arrived in the U.S. Monday under a new Trump administration refugee program aimed at protecting them from racial discrimination in South Africa. The White House says this is the first step in a larger relocation effort to assist a population it claims is being persecuted by South Africa’s black-led government.

The group arrived at Dulles International Airport after departing Johannesburg on a privately chartered flight. President Trump issued an executive order in February prioritizing Afrikaners for refugee status, citing “race-based persecution.”

There have been suggestions that Trump – or more to the point, people on his staff who understand his sense of humour and desire to constantly needle his enemies – may have been trolling with the following official announcement from the State Department:

The word “Afrikaner” doesn’t hit home in the USA as hard as it does in nations like ours, given the closer connections we have with South Africa historically.

They were waving US flags too, unlike the La Raza folk in their Mexican flags and the pro-Palestinians in the US. Naturally their political allies in the Democrat Party hate this, starting with this group of “Christians”:

That seems at odds with Episcopal Bishop Mariann Budde a few months ago when, during a National Prayer Service, she scolded attendees Trump and Vance in a sermon pleading for immdigrants.

And then Episcopalians wonder why their church is dying so rapidly.

The news also allowed some people to be triggered, like this Black guy who threatens the immigrants because he says they’re all racist and Trump brought them here to be racist – “They’re gonna find out the hard way… These people will start getting their ass whooped” – and this Black woman who says they’ll be hunted down. But such people can’t be dismissed as fringe when you consider that CNN hosted this super-well-informed Black person:

ALLISON: So if the Afrikaners don’t actually like the land, they can leave that country.
JENNINGS: They are. They’re leaving to come here. These refugees are coming here.
ALLISON: No, they can leave and go to where their native land is, which is probably Germany or…Holland, yes.

Holland Germany – who cares. Just more White People Countries, amirite? Also understand from her comments that even being in a place for 400 years doesn’t grant you the status of “native”. The implication is that White Americans are invaders in America even after 500 years – but the illegal migrant who got here last week is just as American as anyone else and if you call him an invader you’re a racist.

I’m once again struck by the constant rule changes of the Left. In this case they love immigrants – except these immigrants, because they’re White and once formed the Oppressor Class in another country. Also, I have to admit that if the New Rules are that “Everyone has to leave and go back to their ancestor’s countries of origin,” a lot of Americans might be willing to sign up for that. Is that the rule the immigrant-heavy American Left really wants? As always the question posed to the Left should be: Are you sure you wish to play under these new rules you’re proposing?. And as always it’s a rhetorical question.

But understand that, at least in the case of Ashley Allison this is not just simple bigotry being expressed here. No, her statements are the logical conclusion of De-Colonialisation theory and that does apply to New Zealand and every nation that European Whites have immigrated to over the last four hundred years. It’s the same theory driving “Bomber” Bradbury when he wrote this headline and article the other day about the Parliamentary Priviliges Committee suspending some Te Pāti Māori MP’s.

Maori Party handed unprecedented banishment from Parliament in White Settler Kangaroo Court

The “White Settlers” of NZ are just a hairs breadth (twenty years I reckon) from being treated like the Boers of South Africa. We too can bugger off back to our “native lands” – or perhaps suffer a worse fate:

Kill the Boer is no exaggeration: it’s been going on since Mandela died and the pace is increasing with every passing year.

You need to pay attention to this outrage cycle and think about why all these people are so angry. Those sinful Whites were supposed to have stayed there in South Africa and been punished; dispossessed, robbed, tortured, and murdered. That’s “justice” in the eyes of these people, they are perfectly aligned with the South African government on that point, and Trump robbed them of it:

Here’s the key line:

What the instigators of this falsehood seek is not safety, but impunity from transformation. They flee not from persecution, but from justice, equality, and accountability for historic privilege.

Whether it’s the ANC, Ashley Allison on CNN, John Minto or “Bomber” Bradbury and comrades here in NZ, the objective is the same with “settlers”, and “impunity from transformation” is simply the modern, technical version of purgatory.

Except here there is no escape, this is no “temporal punishment” – which actually means its just Hell.
