It’s been almost five years since I wrote about wealthy brats being the vanguard of the Left’s various little protests, Children of the Privileged Revolution, and despite their causes of the day having gone backwards or even vanished – BLM and Antifa in particular – the next generation of rich kids have simply moved on to new causes. Take a look at the detailed resumes of this lot:

A short excerpt from each:

  • Centre – Emma Biswas
    Harker school at $65,000 per year. Daddy could pay this because he’s been a senior VP of a company called Synopsys for over 20 years, which has offices in Israel and supplies components to Elbit Systems, an IDF weapons maker.
  • TL – Luna Firefly Deerfield Cuming Shaw
    Putney school at $50,100 per year. It advertises itself as a “progressive school” that considers inclusivity “a fundamental principle of the school.” Mummy is a longtime leftwing activist and Bernie Sanders supporter.
  • TR – Marisol Rojas-Cheatham
     Bentley School at $60,000 per year. Daddy works at Kaiser Permanente Insurance as a training and development consultant and is trained in “somatics, trauma and social justice”, which must pay well.
  • BL – Ava Ambrose Tomasula y Garcia
    Interlochen Center for the Arts, a private Michigan high school at $78,000 per year. Mummy and Dady are both professors at the University of Notre Dame.
  • BR – Sophie Elizabeth Jones
    American Community School in Abu Dhabi at $27,000 per year, where she stayed for eleven years. No info on her parents.

The cause they were supporting was Hamas’s fight with Israel and they all were put in cuffs after storming a library at Columbia University, where they’re students.

I’m sure it won’t negatively affect their lives at all, except to burnish their credentials with fellow radicals.
